Against All Odds is a Borg invasion story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. The game lists a recommended level of 1 and it starts at warp 1, but finishing it takes warp 22 because the objectives run through Alta und Panak. You beat a Borg probe, rescue survivors and donate 78,000 Dilithium. The payout is 17 3★ Uncommon Refined Kristall, 17 3★ Uncommon Refined Erze and 150 Premium Recruit Tokens, which makes it worth the trip once warp 22 is in range.
Against All Odds objectives
The story line is short: try to fight back against the Borg invasion. There are seven objectives and no choice split:
- Go to Alta. Location: Alta.
- Defeat the Borg probe. Location: Alta. Enemy strength is roughly 296,419.
- Rescue survivors. Location: Alta.
- Bringen Sie die Überlebenden zu Ihrer Station zurück.
- Go to Panak. Location: Panak.
- Spenden Sie 78.000 Dilithium an die Überlebenden.
- Begleiten Sie die Überlebenden zu Ihrer Station.
The mission splits into two trips. The first half happens entirely in Alta, where the Borg probe is the only fight, and ends when you bring the rescued survivors home. The second half sends you back out to Panak, asks for the Dilithium donation, and closes when you escort the survivors to your Station a second time.
Wo und welcher Warp
No pickup system is listed, and the mission opens at warp 1, so it can sit in your log before you are able to run it. Completing it needs warp 22. Alta and Panak are the only named systems.
The recommended level shows as 1. In practice the Borg probe at roughly 296,419 strength and the warp 22 requirement decide when you can finish it, so treat those two numbers as the real bar.

How it compares with the missions around it
Against All Odds sits between The Long Way Home and Our Fates Are Tied in the Borg storyline. All three list recommended level 1 and ask for warp in the high teens or low twenties, so they tend to be run together. Current game data:

Against All Odds has the highest warp of the three and only one fight. It is also the only one of the three that pays refined materials instead of raw Ressourcen.
Tips
Stock the Dilithium before you leave for Panak. The 78,000 donation comes right after you arrive, and having it ready means the second trip is one smooth run instead of a stop to wait on your generators.
Send a combat ship for the first half. The Borg probe in Alta is the only enemy in the mission, but at roughly 296,419 strength it will stop a survey or mining hull. Once the probe is down the rest of the mission is travel and a donation.
Both return steps bring your ship home, so you will be docked twice during the mission. That is a good moment to repair after the probe fight before heading out to Panak.
The 17 Refined Crystal and 17 Refined Ore are the harder rewards to replace, since refined materials come slowly. The 150 Premium Recruit Tokens go toward officer recruitment. Other missions sorted by level are on the Missionsleitfaden.
