The Second Pillar is the second Conduit Pillar mission in Star Trek Fleet Command, where you deploy a pillar in the Dok’Vos system. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 70 to complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. An Arkonian stands in the way, and you choose to bribe or destroy it. Bribing costs 6M Dilithium and pays Explorer Parts and 59M Tritanium. Destroying means a fight of about 7,227,080 and pays Latinum and Tritanium tokens. Both unlock The Third Pillar.
The Second Pillar objectives
The shared opening has two objectives:
- Travel to Dok’Vos. Location: Dok’Vos.
- Choose how to deal with the Arkonian.
Choice A: bribe the Arkonian
- Pay 6M Dilithium to the Arkonian.
- Deploy the second Conduit Pillar in orbit over Dok’Vos. Location: Dok’Vos.
Rewards: 180 4★ Ungewöhnlich Explorer Parts, 59,085,000 Tritanium.
Choice B: destroy the Arkonian
- Defeat the Arkonian Soldier. Location: Dok’Vos. Enemy strength is roughly 7,227,080.
- Deploy the second Conduit Pillar in orbit over Dok’Vos. Location: Dok’Vos.
Rewards: 1,500 Latinum, 26 1M Tritanium Token.
Both paths end the same way, deploying the pillar over Dok’Vos. The difference is whether you pay your way past the Arkonian or fight through.

The mission is available from warp 1 and needs warp 70 to complete, the range needed to reach Dok’Vos in Klingonisch space. Every step with a location happens there.
The recommended level is listed as 1. On the bribe path the real requirement is 6M Dilithium; on the fight path it is a ship that can beat an enemy of about 7.2 million strength.

What comes next in The Third Pillar
The Third Pillar asks you to deploy the next Conduit Pillar in the New Reykjavik system. It needs warp 160, a big jump from the warp 70 here, and pays 120 4★ Uncommon Battleship Parts and 270,000,000 Parsteel.
Tips
Compare the Tritanium on both paths. The bribe path pays 59 million Tritanium outright, while the fight path pays 26 million in tokens plus 1,500 Latinum. If Tritanium is what you need, bribing pays more than twice as much of it.
Choose the fight if you want Latinum or have no Dilithium to spare. The Arkonian Soldier is strong, but the fight costs repairs rather than Ressourcen.
Pick the Explorer Parts if you are upgrading an explorer. They are only on the bribe path.
