D'deridex-Schlachtschiff

The D’Deridex is a grade 5 Epic Romulan Battleship, the warbird that anchored the Romulan fleet on screen and hits just as hard in Star Trek Fleet Command. It unlocks at Shipyard level 60, so it belongs to the mid-to-late game. Its Warbird ability rewards fire-based crews by stacking extra weapon shots against Burning targets, which makes it a strong pick for players who build around damage over time.

How to get the D’Deridex

Building the D’Deridex takes 650 blueprints and a Shipyard at level 60. Once you have the blueprints and the shipyard, the build cost is 2,455,200,000,000 Tritanium, 59,400,000,000 Dilithium, 5,037 5★ Common Refined Ore, and 1,782 5★ Common Refined Crystal, with a build time of 250 days. Those numbers match its grade 5 tier, so stockpile your resources before you commit.

D’Deridex ability

The ship ability is called Warbird, and like all ship abilities it is always active. While the opponent is Burning, the D’Deridex increases the number of shots on each weapon by 10% at level 1, cumulative, with shots rounded to the nearest whole number. That value climbs with ship level, reaching 20% at level 60. The ability does nothing until you land a Burning effect, so it pays off on crews that apply and refresh Burning every round. Once the target is on fire, every extra shot compounds the ship’s already heavy weapon output.

D’Deridex active abilities

The D’Deridex also carries player-triggered abilities that run on cooldowns and are unlocked through refits. Ship Cloaking hides your ship until the duration runs out or you enter combat, start mining, or dock. Lethal Force increases critical hit damage against other players by 125%, which suits it to PvP. Field Repairs, used out of combat while undocked, instantly restores 25% of your ship’s hull HP. You activate each of these yourself rather than relying on them to fire automatically.

Stats and tiers

These are base values from the current game Daten; research, buffs, and officers raise them in play.

Ebene Warp (speed / range) Impulse Cargo (protected) Shield HP Hull HP Health (displayed)
Stufe 1 4.5 / 585 85 235,000 (15,000) 3,526,943 5,086,629 4,306,786
Stufe 6 5 / 900 85 235,000 (15,000) 5,300,901 7,645,064 6,472,983

Weapons and firing pattern

Warm-up is the round a weapon first fires; cool-down is the number of rounds between shots after that. Values below are at max tier 12.

Waffe Typ Shots Warm-up Cool-down Damage Crit chance Crit damage
Waffe 1 Energie 2 1 1 358,724–438,827 10% 150%
Waffe 2 Energie 1 1 2 1,434,896–1,755,316 10% 150%
Waffe 3 Kinetic 2 2 3 1,869,028–2,055,914 10% 150%

The heavy kinetic cannon in weapon 3 is where the Warbird ability pays off most: each extra shot it grants against a Burning target adds another full-damage hit from your biggest gun.

Crew slots and officer bonus

The D’Deridex opens officer slots as it levels up.

The ship also boosts your officers’ stats, stepping up a ladder as you invest. The attack, defense, and health bonuses are identical at every step, so the single ladder below applies to all three.

D’Deridex refits

Refits unlock the ship’s active abilities and a skin, each paid for with shards.

Nachrüstung What it does
D’Deridex Cloaking Enables cloaking for the ship and raises base weapon damage by 500%. Costs 120 shards.
D’Deridex Lethal Force Unlocks the Lethal Force ability. Requires a level 60 Armory and 120 shards.
Field Repairs Unlocks Field Repairs, which restores 25% of hull HP out of combat while undocked. Costs 120 shards.
Hijacked TOS D’Deridex Unlocks the Hijacked skin refit. Costs 80 shards.

Crew for the D’Deridex

Because the Warbird ability only works while the target is Burning, the priority is a bridge that applies and refreshes Burning so the shot bonus stays live. Pair that with officers that raise weapon damage or critical hit chance, since the ship’s payoff is turning extra shots into extra damage. In PvP the Lethal Force refit rewards a crew built around critical hits. For current officer picks, check the Officer Tier List, and keep in mind that the best crews shift as the meta changes.

The D’Deridex in Star Trek

The D’Deridex class, also called the B-type warbird, was the mainstay of the Romulan Star Empire through the later 24th century. Roughly twice the length of a Galaxy-class starship, it became a familiar sight along the Neutral Zone in Star Trek: The Next Generation and fought throughout the Dominion War. Its most distinctive feature is its power source, an artificial quantum singularity, a contained black hole that also means the ship can never fully power down. Paired with Romulan cloaking technology, the warbird earned its reputation as one of the most formidable ships in the Alpha Quadrant.

Is the D’Deridex worth it?

For a grade 5 Episch, the D’Deridex is a genuine damage platform, and the Warbird ability plus the cloaking refit’s 500% weapon-damage boost give it real teeth against players and hostiles you can set on fire. The Shipyard 60 requirement and the 250-day build put it out of reach until the mid-to-late game, so it rewards players who are already deep in. If you like a fire-based, crit-focused combat ship and can feed its build cost, it earns its slot.
