The Secret Cabal is a main storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you stop a renegade Independent captain from igniting war in a neutral sector. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 24 to complete. You track Captain Estilla to Gradienten, destroy the captain’s ship and escort a group of Suliban Nomads to Galorndon Core. The reward is 100,000 Parsteel, 200 Premium Recruit Tokens and 1 Relocation Token. One fight and an escort make it a quick mission for a useful mix of rewards.
The Secret Cabal objectives

- Find the Independent Captain in Gradientes. Location: Gradientes.
- Destroy Captain Estilla’s ship. Location: Gradientes. Enemy strength is about 102,720.
- Escort the Suliban Nomads to Galorndon Core. Location: Galorndon Core.
The first two steps happen in Gradientes, where you find the renegade captain and destroy the ship. The last step is an escort from there to Galorndon Core, and the mission ends when the Nomads arrive.

You can accept The Secret Cabal at warp 1, and it needs warp 24 to finish. Gradientes and Galorndon Core are the two systems.
The game lists a recommended level of 1. The real bar is Captain Estilla’s ship at about 102,720 strength and a ship that can reach warp 24.

The Secret Cabal and the missions around it
All three Missionen carry a listed level of 1, but they ask for very different things:

Overhaul, the mission before, is a station task. The Secret Cabal is the one with a fight. Building Orders comes next and asks for a 5,000,000 Parsteel donation, so the Parsteel from these missions is worth holding onto.
Tips
Bring a combat ship with some margin over 102,720 strength. Captain Estilla’s ship is the only fight, and the escort afterwards has no listed enemy.
Save your Parsteel. Building Orders, straight after this, needs 5,000,000 Parsteel donated, and this mission only covers 100,000 of it.
Hold on to the Relocation Token until you have a clear use for it; this mission gives only one.
