No Way Out is a mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you track down Morel, an Orion Underboss, and decide whether to help him or turn him in. It is recommended for level 44, is picked up in Hannlaw, and needs warp 90 to start and warp 100 to complete. Each path has one fight in the 5.6 to 5.9 million range. Both pay 5,124,000 Dilithium and a 4 Hr Peace Shield, plus 600 4★ Gemeinsame ship parts whose type depends on your choice.

No Way Out objectives

The mission opens with two shared steps:

  • Find Morel. Location: Izbrig.
  • How should we deal with the situation?

Help Morel

  • Return to Starfleet. Location: Beta Niobe.
  • Lead Starfleet to a remote location. Location: Hannlaw.
  • Defeat the USS Erebus. Location: Hannlaw. Enemy strength is roughly 5,649,811.
  • Return to Morel. Location: Vita Nova.

Turn Morel in

  • Defeat Morel. Location: Vita Nova. Enemy strength is roughly 5,867,534.
  • Bring Morel to Starfleet. Location: Beta Niobe.

Helping Morel is the longer route, with four steps across three systems and a fight against a Starfleet ship. Turning him in is two steps, but Morel himself is the slightly stronger enemy.

Wo und welcher Warp

The pickup system is Hannlaw. The mission needs warp 90 to start and warp 100 to complete, and it moves between Izbrig, Beta Niobe, Hannlaw and Vita Nova depending on your path.

The recommended level is 44. Both fights sit between 5.6 and 5.9 million power, which is what your ship needs to be ready for.

No Way Out rewards

Belohnung Help Morel Turn Morel in
Dilithium 5,124,000 5,124,000
4 Hr Peace Shield 1 1
4★ Common Interceptor Parts 600 Keine
4★ Common Explorer Parts Keine 600

The game data lists no next mission unlocked by No Way Out.

Which choice to pick

The Dilithium and Peace Shield are the same on both paths, so pick by ship parts. Helping Morel pays Interceptor Parts; turning him in pays Explorer Parts. Choose the one that matches the ship you are upgrading.

If you only care about speed, turning Morel in has fewer steps. The fight is about 4 percent stronger than the USS Erebus, a small difference.

Wie sie in die Storyline passt

No Way Out follows Im Kreuzfeuer gefangen, which opens this storyline. That mission is also recommended for level 44, needs warp 95, and asks you to investigate a conflict in Vita Nova and defeat 12 level 42 hostiles for 15,400,000 Tritanium and 3,710,000 Dilithium.

Ein kleines Stück vom Himmel, a level 43 mission, also sends you to Vita Nova and Beta Niobe, with a fight at about 2.7 million.

Tips

Save the 4 Hr Peace Shield for when you need protection, rather than using it right away.

Repair before your path’s fight. Other missions sorted by level are on the Missionsleitfaden.
