A Path to Carnage is a Borg storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you unravel the mystery behind a destroyed Romulan station. You follow an audio log to Rooth, defeat a Raider at roughly 305,058 strength, save a survivor, donate 85,000 Dilithium, and bring strange debris home. It needs warp 19 to finish and the game lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is 50 3★ Uncommon Refined Gas.
A Path to Carnage objectives

- Save the survivor. Location: Rooth.

The audio log leads you to Rooth, a Romulanisch system. A Raider is there, and beating it clears the way to the survivor. The survivor needs 85,000 Dilithium, and once that is paid you carry the strange debris back to your station to complete the mission.
Wo und welcher Warp
There is no pickup system, and the mission becomes available at warp 1. Completing it needs warp 19, the range for Rooth. Everything away from home happens in that one system.
The recommended level shows as 1. The Raider at about 305,058 strength and the 85,000 Dilithium donation are the real requirements.

Completing the mission also unlocks the next mission in the chain.

The warp barely moves across these three, so one ship can run them in order. Each pays something different: recruit tokens, refined gas, then Tritanium and parts.
A Path to Carnage also belongs to a set with Rückblenden and The Echoes Of Our Sins in the same storyline. Each of the three pays 50 of one 3★ Uncommon refined type: gas here, crystal in Flashbacks and Erze in The Echoes Of Our Sins.
Two of them also ask for Dilithium donations of a similar size. A Path to Carnage wants 85,000 Dilithium and Flashbacks wants 75,000, so budget around 160,000 Dilithium if you plan to run both.
Tips
Bring a combat ship. The Raider at about 305,058 is the only fight, and it stands between you and the survivor.
Keep 85,000 Dilithium ready. The donation comes after the rescue, and the mission cannot finish until it is paid.
Head straight home afterwards. The last step is to return the debris to your station, so there is no reason to linger in Rooth once the survivor is helped.
