The story line reads: gather tech from the colonist ship. There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Return to the Survivor ship. Location: Muhg.
- Donate 50M Tritanium.
- Fight back against the strange ship. Location: Muhg. Enemy strength is roughly 11,862,502.
- Bring the tech to Scotty. Location: Avofall.
The first three steps all happen in Muhg. You reach the survivor ship, pay the 50M Tritanium donation, and then a strange ship attacks. That fight at around 11.9 million is the one combat check in the mission. Once it is won, the last step is a jump to Avofall to hand the tech to Scotty.

There is no pickup system in the data, and the mission opens at warp 1. Completing it takes warp 150, and the route is Muhg first, then Avofall. The data lists the recommended level as 1, but an 11.9 million strength enemy and a 50M Tritanium bill put this firmly in end-game territory.

A Glimpse Behind the Veil needs slightly less warp than the mission before it, but the fight is about 40% stronger and it is the one with a resource bill.
Tips
Stockpile the Tritanium before you fly to Muhg. The 50M donation sits between arriving at the survivor ship and the fight, so being short would leave you parked in Muhg with the mission stalled.
Send your strongest combat ship. The strange ship is the only fight, and at about 11.9 million it is the whole difficulty of the mission.
The Interceptor Parts are the payout, so the value depends on whether you are building a 4★ interceptor. The 200 Uncommon parts make up most of the reward by count, with the 28 Rare parts on top. Every other mission sorted by level is on the mission guide.
