Quid Pro Quo is a standalone mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you help a merchant recover stolen artifacts. It is listed at recommended level 1, starts at warp 1 and needs warp 13 to complete. The trail runs through three systems, Kepler-018, Labac and Amador, with a Nausicaan raider and the raider captain to beat along the way. The reward mixes 140 2★ Survey Parts, 20 2★ Uncommon Refined Crystal, 30 15 Minute Speed Ups and 6 Klingon Recruit Tokens, a solid return for a low-warp run.
Quid Pro Quo objectives
There are six objectives across three systems and no choice split:
- Investigate the site of the theft in Kepler-018. Location: Kepler-018.
- Track the thieves to Labac. Location: Labac.
- Defeat the Nausicaan raider. Location: Labac. Enemy strength is roughly 18,405.
- Find the raiders’ base in Amador. Location: Amador.
- Retrieve the artifacts from the raider captain. Location: Amador. Enemy strength is roughly 17,801.
- Return the artifacts to your station.
The mission reads like a short detective story. Kepler-018 is the crime scene and involves no combat. Labac is where the thieves are caught up with, and the Nausicaan raider there is the first fight. Amador holds the raiders’ base and the captain who has the artifacts, which is the second fight. The last step takes the artifacts home.
The two fights are close in strength, about 18,405 and 17,801, and the first one is slightly harder. A ship that wins in Labac should be ready for Amador.
Where and what warp
There is no pickup system in the data, and Quid Pro Quo opens at warp 1. Completing it takes warp 13, which has to cover Kepler-018, Labac and Amador. The recommended level is listed as 1, but the practical bar is winning two fights in the 18,000 range.
The route is Kepler-018, then Labac, then Amador, then back to your station. Because the final objective is a return trip, the mission ends with your ship docked.
Quid Pro Quo rewards
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| 2★ Survey Parts | 140 |
| 15 Minute Speed Up | 30 |
| 2★ Uncommon Refined Crystal | 20 |
| Klingon Recruit Token | 6 |
Quid Pro Quo has no unlock line in the data. It is a one-off mission, not part of a chain.
The 30 15 Minute Speed Ups add up to 7.5 hours. The 140 2★ Survey Parts are the largest line by count, and they are the reason a player building up survey ships would put this mission near the top of the list.
Tips
Send a combat ship even though the first stop is peaceful. Two of the six objectives are fights, and both sit close to 18,000 strength, so a survey hull or miner is the wrong pick for Labac.
Run the whole route in one trip. Kepler-018, Labac and Amador come one after another, so there is no reason to break the mission up.
Klingon Recruit Tokens are the smallest reward at 6, so treat them as a bonus rather than a reason to run the mission. Every other mission sorted by level is on the mission guide.
