Fade to Black is a level 30 story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command in which you decide the fate of Eurydice. It opens with Starfleet tracking you to your station and a fight against a Starfleet ship at roughly 296,419 strength. Then you choose whether to go after Eurydice. Helping her means a second fight in Kuzukoh and pays more Tritanium plus refined gas; staying home pays less Tritanium but adds repair speed ups. The mission needs warp 24 to finish.

No system is named for the Starfleet ship. It has tracked you to your station, and you need to stop it before it attacks.

- Save Eurydice. Location: Kuzukoh.
- Defeat Lian Ros. Location: Kuzukoh. Enemy strength is roughly 293,839.
- Return to your Station.
Rewards for this path: 544,000 Tritanium and 16 3★ Uncommon Refined Gas. The game marks it as the Romulan path. Part of the crew stays behind to guard the Romulan super soldiers while the rest of you go after Eurydice.

Where and what warp
The mission can be picked up at warp 1, and completing it needs warp 24. Kuzukoh, a level 29 rogue system, is the only system named, and only the rescue path goes there.
The recommended level is 30. The Starfleet ship at about 296,419 strength is the fight everyone faces; the rescue adds Lian Ros at a similar strength.

Either path unlocks Final Assault.
Which path to pick
Helping Eurydice pays 209,000 more Tritanium and adds refined gas, but it costs a second fight near 294,000 strength and a trip to Kuzukoh. Staying home is quicker, and the 25 repair speed ups, more than six hours of repairs, go a long way toward fixing the damage from the Starfleet fight. If your ship handled the first fight comfortably, the rescue is the better return.
How it follows The Secret Weapon
Fade to Black comes after The Secret Weapon, in which you approach a lab in Sahqooq, defeat 5 hostiles of level 30 or higher and break the Romulan super soldiers out. That mission is also recommended for level 30, finishes at warp 26 and pays 1,989,000 Parsteel, 59,000 Dilithium and a 30 Minute Speed Up. Fade to Black needs slightly less warp but has the harder single fights.
Tips
Repair after the Starfleet ship before you decide. If you choose the rescue, Lian Ros comes next and is almost as strong.
