Plünderungsgruppen

Raiding Parties is a short early mission in Star Trek Fleet Command: destroy a Nausicaan raid fleet in Tellun, then head home for repairs. It is picked up in Tellun, needs warp 5 to start and finish, and has a recommended level of 7. The fight is small, at about 669 strength. The rewards are 20 Recruit Tokens, 110 Officer XP and an Encryption Key, and it takes only a few minutes.

Raiding Parties objectives

Es gibt zwei Ziele und keine Verzweigung:

  • Destroy the Nausicaan Raid Fleet. Location: Tellun. Enemy strength is roughly 669.
  • Return to Station for repairs.

You pick the mission up in Tellun and fight the Nausicaan raiders in the same system. Once they are destroyed, recall to your station to finish and collect the rewards.

Wo und welcher Warp

Raiding Parties is picked up in Tellun and needs warp 5 both to start and to complete, so a ship that reaches Tellun has all the range the mission needs. The recommended level is 7.

The Nausicaan Raid Fleet at about 669 strength is well within reach of an early combat ship at that level.

Raiding Parties rewards

Belohnung Amount
Token rekrutieren 20
Officer XP 110
Encryption Key 1

Raiding Parties does not unlock a follow-up mission.

The Recruit Tokens go toward early officer pulls, and the Officer XP helps level your first crew. The Encryption Key is the item that ties this mission to the others handed out in Tellun.

Other Tellun missions

Tellun offers several early Missionen, and each of them pays one Encryption Key:

Mission Recommended level What you do Belohnungen
Plünderungsgruppen 7 Destroy the Nausicaan Raid Fleet (~669), return for repairs 20 Recruit Tokens, 110 Officer XP, 1 Encryption Key
On the Run 7 Track a criminal through Risa, Maluria and Yridia, defeat Rorov (~1,392) 5,000 Parsteel, 270 Officer XP, 1 Encryption Key
Cast the First Stone 8 Defeat 5 hostiles in Tellun, return 250 Tritanium, 120 Officer XP, 1 Encryption Key
Depriving the Enemy 8 Mine 100 Tritanium 2,400 Parsteel, 2 Domitia shards, 1 Encryption Key

All four share the warp 5 range. Running the full set gives you four Encryption Keys, along with a mix of Parsteel, Tritanium, Officer XP and Domitia shards. Raiding Parties is the quickest of them, with a single weak fight and no travel outside Tellun.

Tips

Do it while you are in Tellun for the other missions. Cast the First Stone also asks for kills in Tellun, so the two fit together on one trip.

Use your combat ship, not a miner. The raid fleet is weak, but a mining ship is still the wrong tool for any fight.

Repair when you get home. The mission’s last step sends you back for repairs anyway, so dock and fix any damage before your next outing.
