Flashbacks is a Borg storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you answer a distress call from a Vulcan fleet. You respond in the Vulcan system, clear 15 hostiles of level 26 or higher, donate 75,000 Dilithium, then escort the fleet to safety in Hann. It needs warp 18 to finish, the game lists a recommended level of 1, and the reward is 50 3★ Uncommon Refined Kristall.
Flashbacks objectives
There are four objectives and no choice split:
- Respond to the Vulcan fleet. Location: Vulkan.
- Besiegen Sie 15 Feinde der Stufe 26 oder höher.
- Spenden Sie 75.000 Dilithium an die Flotte.
- Escort the Vulcan fleet to safety. Location: Hann.
The mission opens with a trip to Vulcan. The kill count has no system attached, so any hostile of level 26 or higher counts. After that you hand over 75,000 Dilithium and escort the fleet to Hann, which completes the mission. There are no named enemies, so the kill count is the only combat.
Wo und welcher Warp
There is no pickup system, and the mission becomes available at warp 1. Completing it needs warp 18, the range for Hann.
Vulcan and Hann are both Föderation systems, so the whole route stays inside Federation space.
The recommended level is listed as 1, but the kill count asks for level 26 or higher hostiles. A ship that can clear those fifteen times, plus 75,000 Dilithium in the bank, is the real requirement.

Completing the mission also unlocks the next mission in the chain.

Flashbacks is one of three nearby Missionen in this storyline that each pay 50 of a single 3★ Uncommon refined type. Run them all and you have a full matching set:

The mission straight after Flashbacks is Ein moralischer Kompass, which needs only warp 13 and pays 250 3★ Common Refined Crystal. The Echoes Of Our Sins comes just before this one.
Tips
Clear the 15 kills while you are out. The count comes after you reach Vulcan and before the donation, and any level 26 or higher hostile works. Farming close to Vulcan keeps the trip to Hann short afterwards.
Have the 75,000 Dilithium ready. The escort to Hann cannot start until the donation is paid, so a short Dilithium balance leaves the fleet waiting.
The 50 3★ Uncommon Refined Crystal saves a good amount of Raffinerie time, and it pairs with the ore and gas from the two neighbouring missions in the table above.
Use a combat ship for the whole run. The kill count is the only fighting, but fifteen level 26 or higher hostiles is enough that a mining or survey ship is not a sensible choice.
