The Quv’Sompek is a grade 5 Rare Klingon Explorer in Star Trek Fleet Command, unlocked when your Shipyard reaches level 56. It is built to grind hostiles: its ability blunts enemy accuracy and piercing for the opening rounds, and refits add Tarnung plus a damage boost against hostiles and armadas. If you farm Klingon space at endgame, the Quv’Sompek pulls its weight.
How to get the Quv’Sompek
Building the Quv’Sompek takes 350 blueprints and a Shipyard at level 56. With those in hand, the build cost is 540,000,000,000 Tritanium and 13,128,750,000 Dilithium, and the build runs 200 days. This is an endgame hull, and the resource bill matches, so expect to bank materials well before you start the build.
Quv’Sompek ability
The ship ability is Intimidating Presence. When the Quv’Sompek fights hostiles, it lowers their Armor Piercing, Shield Piercing, and Accuracy for the first five rounds of combat. The reduction scales with ship level, starting at 12% and climbing to 130% at level 60. Ship abilities are always active, so there is nothing to trigger. In play this softens the opening exchange against a hostile: less enemy piercing and accuracy means more of your shields and hull survive the first five rounds, which is where a lot of hostile fights are decided. It does nothing against other players, so treat it as a pure player-versus-environment tool.
Quv’Sompek active ability
Through refits, the Quv’Sompek can also mount two player-triggered abilities. Ship Cloaking hides the ship on the map; it ends when the duration runs out, when you enter combat, when you begin mining, or when you dock. Relentless Assault raises your Weapon Damage against hostiles and armadas. You activate each of these yourself, and like other active abilities they run on a cooldown that shortens as the ship tiers up. Cloaking lets you reposition or slip through contested space without drawing fire, while Relentless Assault leans into the ship’s hostile-hunting role. Both are unlocked through the refits listed below.

Weapons and firing pattern
Warm-up is the round a weapon first fires; cool-down is how many rounds pass between shots after that. The values below are at max tier. The kinetic weapon in row 3 is the ship’s heaviest single hit.
| Waffe | Typ | Shots | Warm-up | Cool-down | Damage | Crit chance | Crit damage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Energie | 2 | 1 | 2 | 653,995–723,268 | 10% | 150% |
| 2 | Energie | 2 | 1 | 2 | 653,995–723,268 | 10% | 150% |

Crew slots and officer bonus

Crew for the Quv’Sompek
The Quv’Sompek is a hostile grinder, so build its bridge around that job. A captain that boosts weapon damage against hostiles, or that adds mitigation, gets the most from the hull’s opening-round advantage. Officers that raise critical hit chance or critical damage also pay off, since the ship fires two energy volleys and a kinetic shot each cycle. For current picks, see our Officer Tier List. Crews shift with the meta, so treat any single lineup as a starting point rather than a fixed answer.
The Quv’Sompek in Star Trek
The Quv’Sompek is an original design created for Star Trek Fleet Befehl, not a ship from any Star Trek series or film. Its name uses Klingon roots, and it fits the Klingon shipbuilding tradition the game leans on, with aggressive lines and cloaking technology built around hunting. In the game’s own telling, it is the newest favorite among Klingon scouting vessels, outfitted with adaptive defenses that channel an energy surge into its shields to weather an enemy’s opening blows. Because it has no screen history, its story is what the game gives it rather than anything drawn from canon.
Is the Quv’Sompek worth it?
For a grade 5 Seltene Explorer, the Quv’Sompek sits in the endgame hostile-grinding tier. Its Intimidating Presence ability and the Relentless Assault refit aim at the same job, farming hostiles faster and safer, and cloaking adds map flexibility most Explorers lack. The build is expensive and gated at Shipyard 56, so it is a project for established players. If you grind Klingon hostiles at high Betrieb levels, it earns the investment; earlier players have cheaper hulls to lean on first.
