The Artifact Gallery is a station building in Star Trek Fleet Command that displays rare artifacts collected from across the quadrant and beyond. It unlocks at Operations level 26 and upgrades all the way to level 70. Past the display case, every upgrade raises the hull health and shield health of your entire fleet and increases the Artifact Tokens you earn from Formation Armadas. For any player at or beyond Ops 26, it is a steady survivability boost worth leveling as resources allow.

What the Artifact Gallery does

In the game’s own words, the Artifact Gallery houses a collection of valuable artifacts acquired from across the quadrant, with visitors welcome to see the objects on display. The flavor is cosmetic, but the building carries three passive bonuses that apply the moment it reaches level 1 and grow with every upgrade.

Two of those bonuses raise the durability of every ship you own, whether it is docked or out in space. The third feeds your Formation Armada rewards. Here is where each buff starts and where it lands at a few anchor levels.

Buff Active from Level 1 Stufe 35 Level 70
Hull Health Bonus (all ships) Level 1 7% 347% 2,000%
Shield Health Bonus (all ships) Level 1 7% 347% 2,000%
Artifact Token Bonus (Formation Armadas) Level 1 1% 75% 250%

The hull and shield bonuses climb in step with each other, reaching 148% each by level 20 and 684% each by level 50 before topping out at 2,000% at level 70. The Artifact Token Bonus scales more gently, from 20% at level 20 to 150% at level 50 and 250% at max. Values are current as of the latest game data.

How to unlock the Artifact Gallery

The Artifact Gallery becomes available once your station reaches Operations level 26. Placing the level 1 building costs 100 Artifact Gallery Key and 800 Parsteel, and the build finishes in 35 seconds. The Artifact Gallery Key is the one-time placement currency; after that, upgrades run on Artifact Gallery Schematics and Parsteel.

Upgrade costs and build times

Costs and timers stay small through the early levels and then climb steeply. These milestone rows show the shape of the curve; requirements are the resolved building gates from the game data.

Ebene Kosten Build time Requires
1 100 Artifact Gallery Key, 800 Parsteel 35s Operations 26
10 38 Artifact Gallery Schematics, 7,000 Parsteel 1h 50m Operations 26
20 80 Artifact Gallery Schematics, 144,500 Parsteel 1d 5h Operations 26
30 220 Artifact Gallery Schematics, 13.26M Parsteel 3d 1h Operations 30
40 700 Artifact Gallery Schematics, 2.866B Parsteel 48d 11h Operations 40
50 2,300 Artifact Gallery Schematics, 125B Parsteel 830d 2h Operations 50
60 9,000 Artifact Gallery Schematics, 40.19T Parsteel 1748d 22h Operations 60
65 10,000 Artifact Gallery Schematics, 6.015M Σ-Parsteel 134d 9h Operations 65
70 13,000 Artifact Gallery Schematics, 26.97M Σ-Parsteel 538d 4h Operations 70

From level 65 the Parsteel bill gives way to Σ-Parsteel, the endgame Sigma resource, which is why the top two rows look cheaper in raw numbers than level 60. Across the full climb from level 1 to 70, the building asks for 100 Artifact Gallery Key, roughly 114.2T Parsteel, 178,526 Artifact Gallery Schematics, and 88.39M Σ-Parsteel. The cumulative unboosted build time comes to about 18,808 days, so speedups and build-cost research matter a great deal here.

How the Artifact Gallery fits your station

Because it opens at Operations 26, the Artifact Gallery lands in the mid game, when fleet-wide health bonuses start to pay off in both PvP and PvE. The hull and shield bonuses stack with your other station buffs and apply to every hull in your roster, so early levels give a fast, cheap return before the timers grow. Later levels are paced by Operations as much as by resources: level 30 needs Operations 30, level 40 needs Operations 40, and so on up to Operations 70. That gating means you can rarely rush the Artifact Gallery ahead of your overall station, so the practical plan is to push it in the cheap early band and then chip away as your Operations level and Parsteel stockpile allow.

Is the Artifact Gallery worth upgrading?

Yes, with a caveat about pacing. The first twenty or so levels are inexpensive and hand you a solid block of hull and shield health for the whole fleet, which helps everywhere from mining defense to armadas. If you run Formation Armadas, the Artifact Token Bonus adds up on top of that. The high levels demand enormous Parsteel, then Sigma-Parsteel, and timers measured in years unboosted, so treat level 60 and above as a long-haul goal rather than a sprint. Keep it moving in the early band and it earns its footprint on your station.
