I Once Was Blind… is a level 26 story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you speak with Elix about T’Pora. The mission sends you to Angosia to talk to T’Pora’s commanding officer, then back to your station. It starts at warp 1, needs warp 18 to complete and has no fights. The reward is 39,000 Tritanium and 8,000 Dilithium, and it sets up the search for T’Pora in the next mission.
I Once Was Blind… objectives
There are two objectives and no choice split:
- Speak with T’Pora’s commanding officer. Location: Angosia.
- Return to your Station.
The mission is a conversation and a trip home. You fly to Angosia and speak with T’Pora’s commanding officer. After that you return to your station, and the mission completes on arrival. No hostile, donation or scan step is involved.
Where and what warp
I Once Was Blind… has no pickup system and starts at warp 1. You need warp 18 to complete it, which covers the trip to Angosia.
The recommended level is 26, the same as the missions before and after it. Because there is no combat, warp 18 is the only thing to check.
I Once Was Blind… rewards
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| Tritanium | 39,000 |
| Dilithium | 8,000 |
Completing the mission unlocks the next part of the chain.
I Once Was Blind… and neighbouring missions
This mission follows The Inevitable, where you deal with the Klingon backlash. It leads into …But Now I See, where you investigate T’Pora’s whereabouts. The two titles complete the same phrase, so they read as a pair.
| Mission | Recommended level | Warp to complete | Rewards |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Inevitable | 26 | 22 | 20 Recruit Tokens, 17,000 Dilithium |
| I Once Was Blind… | 26 | 18 | 39,000 Tritanium, 8,000 Dilithium |
| …But Now I See | 26 | 22 | 13 3★ Uncommon Refined Crystal, 172,000 Tritanium, 1,168,000 Parsteel |
I Once Was Blind… needs the least warp of the three. …But Now I See pays far more, with over a million Parsteel, so it is worth moving on to right away.
Tips
Use any ship with warp 18. There is nothing to fight, so a mining or survey ship can make the trip while your combat ships stay busy.
Head straight home after the conversation. The return to your station is a real objective, and the mission will not complete until your ship is back.
Check that your ship can manage warp 22 before starting …But Now I See, since the next mission asks for four more than this one. For the rest of the missions around level 26, see the STFC mission guide.
