At All Costs is a Borg story mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. The Borg are coming, and you have to stop them from finding the Vi’dar. It opens at warp 1, needs warp 45 to complete and is listed at recommended level 1. You meet a Romulan scientist, donate 3,800 Inert Nanoprobes, destroy 6 Borg ships in Metra Gamma, then decide where to lead the Borg. One path pays nearly 2.9 million Parsteel plus Tritanium and Dilithium; the other pays 800 Ultra Recruit Tokens. Either one unlocks Divided We Stand.
At All Costs objectives
The first six steps are shared:
- Meet with the Romulan scientist. Location: Sufiday.
- Go to the nanotech lab in Khitomer. Location: Khitomer.
- Donate 3,800 Inert Nanoprobes to the scientist.
- Go to Metra Gamma. Location: Metra Gamma.
- Defeat 6 Borg ships in Metra Gamma. Location: Metra Gamma.
- Decide where to lead the Borg.
At the last step the mission splits in two.
Path 1: lead the Borg to Sinisser
- Lead the Borg to Sinisser. Location: Sinisser.
- Retreat to your Station before the Borg arrive.
Rewards for Path 1: 2,889,000 Parsteel, 425,000 Tritanium, 85,000 Dilithium.
Path 2: lead the Borg to Archer
- Lead the Borg to Archer. Location: Archer.
- Retreat to your Station before the Borg arrive.
Rewards for Path 2: 800 Ultra Recruit Token, 150 Premium Recruit Token.
Sinisser is the uninhabited option and Archer the inhabited one, so the story asks whether you risk a populated world in exchange for the recruit tokens.
Where and what warp
At All Costs has no pickup system in the data and starts at warp 1. Completing it takes warp 45. The route runs Sufiday, then Khitomer, then Metra Gamma, then either Sinisser or Archer, and both paths end back at your station.
The recommended level is listed as 1, but the 6 Borg kills and the nanoprobe donation are the real gates.

Which path to choose
This is a straight choice between resources and recruit tokens. Path 1 is the resource path, with Parsteel making up most of its value. Path 2 is the recruit path, with 800 Ultra Recruit Tokens as the headline. The objectives on both sides are one trip and a retreat home, so difficulty does not separate them. Pick whichever you are shorter on.
Where the nanoprobes come from
The previous mission, The Seeds of Life, asks you to collect 3,000 Inert Nanoprobes and 150 Active Nanoprobes. At All Costs then asks you to donate 3,800 Inert Nanoprobes, which is 800 more than The Seeds of Life had you collect.

Tips
Have 3,800 Inert Nanoprobes ready before you reach Khitomer. The donation comes right after the lab visit and before the Borg fights, so a shortfall stops the mission there.
