The Least of Me is a Discovery storyline mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where you end the chase and destroy VESTA. It comes in four versions, recommended for levels 10, 14, 27 and 40, each with the same five steps: find VESTA, clear the local hostiles, approach, defeat VESTA and return home. The level 10 version runs in Risa at warp 5 and pays 3,200 Parsteel, 25 Tritanium and 50 Ship XP. The level 40 version pays 3,519,000 Tritanium.
The Least of Me objectives
At level 10 every step happens in Risa, with no choice split:
- Stop VESTA once and for all. Location: Risa.
- Defeat 8 hostiles in Risa. Location: Risa.
- Approach VESTA. Location: Risa.
- Defeat VESTA. Location: Risa. Enemy strength is about 2,935.
- Kehren Sie zu Ihrer Station zurück.
The hostile step names Risa, so that is where to hunt. Once the kills are done you can close in on VESTA for the final fight and then head home.
Wo und welcher Warp
The level 10 version starts at warp 1 and needs warp 5 to complete, all within Risa. The higher versions move to Elona and then Nott, at warp 11 and warp 20.
Risa’s regular hostiles are Explorers at levels 5 to 8, so the 8 kills should be quick for a level 10 ship, and VESTA itself is about 2,935 strength.
The Least of Me rewards
At level 10 the reward is 3,200 Parsteel, 25 Tritanium and 50 Ship XP. The mission does not unlock a follow-up.
The Least of Me at other levels
The objectives stay the same, but the system, the number of hostiles and VESTA’s strength change. At level 14 the fight is in Elona with 6 hostiles. At levels 27 and 40 it is in Nott with 8 hostiles.

For reference, the regular hostiles in Elona are Schlachtschiffe at levels 12 to 16, and Nott’s are Battleships at levels 14 to 20. If those are what you clear, the hostile step in the level 27 and 40 versions is easy compared with VESTA, which jumps to about 200,351 and then about 1.08 million strength.
Tips
Hunt in the named system. Each version’s hostile step names Risa, Elona or Nott, so pick your spot there.
In the level 40 version, the hostiles in Nott are far weaker than VESTA. Go in fully repaired for the final fight rather than worrying about the count.
