It is recommended for level 25, starts at warp 1 and needs warp 20 to complete. You meet a ship dealer in <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/arkadien\/\">Arcadion<\/a>, donate 150,000 Tritanium, lurk near a mercenary outpost in <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/esteria-23-neutral\/\">Esteria<\/a> and clear 5 hostiles before getting out. The reward is 853,000 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/parsteel\/\"   title=\"Parsteel\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"23589\">Parsteel<\/a>, 17 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/latinum\/\"   title=\"Latinum\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"19259\">Latinum<\/a> and 30 15 Minute Repair Speed Ups, the largest payout of the missions around it.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Smell_of_Fear_objectives\"><\/span>The Smell of Fear objectives<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There are five objectives in a fixed order and no choice split:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meet with the ship dealer. Location: Arcadion.<\/li>\n<li>Donate 150,000 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/tritanium\/\"   title=\"Tritanium\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"23588\">Tritanium<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Lurk near the mercenary outpost. Location: Esteria.<\/li>\n<li>Defeat 5 hostiles of Level 24 or higher.<\/li>\n<li>Return to your Station and get out of there.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The ship dealer is your cover, and the Tritanium donation pays for it. You then wait near the mercenary outpost in Esteria and take out 5 hostiles of level 24 or higher. Any hostile of that level counts, and no system is set for them. The last step is a quick exit back to your Station.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_and_what_warp\"><\/span>Wo und welcher Warp<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Smell of Fear can be accepted at warp 1 and needs warp 20 to finish. Arcadion and Esteria are the two named systems.<\/p>\n<p>The recommended level is 25. Hot and Cold and A Compelling Argument give back 98,000 Tritanium between them, which covers part of the 150,000 you spend here.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tips\"><\/span>Tips<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Have 150,000 Tritanium ready before you meet the ship dealer. The mission will not move on to Esteria until the donation is made.<\/p>\n<p>Clear the 5 hostiles wherever it is convenient.
