It unlocks at Shipyard level 22 and works as an early exploration hull whose ability sharpens its shots against Interceptors rather than turning it into a dedicated miner. The build needs 50 blueprints.

The build cost is 500,000 Tritanium and 20,000 Dilithium, and construction takes 6 days and 6 hours. Where the 50 blueprints come from changes as events and store stock rotate, so that channel is not fixed here. The Vahklas is scrappable once your Betrieb reach level 26, which matters more than the build itself for most accounts.

Vahklas ability

The Vahklas carries one always-active ship ability, Pinpoint Targeting. When the ship it is fighting is an Interceptor, Pinpoint Targeting raises the Vahklas’s Accuracy. That bonus starts at 10% at ship level 1 and climbs to 60% at level 45. Ship abilities like this run all the time, with no button to press.

Accuracy decides how many of your shots land cleanly instead of glancing, and Interceptors lean on dodge to shrug off hits. So the Vahklas does its best work pointed at an Interceptor, where the extra accuracy cancels some of that evasion. Against Explorers or Schlachtschiffe the ability sits idle, which is the trade for an Explorer hull that already counters Interceptors by type.

Stats and tiers

Base values below come from the current game Daten; research, buffs and officers raise them in play.

Ebene

Warp (speed / range)

Impulse

Cargo (protected)

Shield HP

Hull HP

Health (displayed)

1

3 / 19

100

8,000 (200)

5,560

2,930

4,245

5

3.4 / 23

100

16,820 (250)

15,128

2,930

9,029

9

3.8 / 30

100

42,000 (400)

26,470

2,930

14,700

The Vahklas leans on shields rather than hull to stay alive. Across its nine tiers the shield pool climbs from 5,560 to 26,470 while the base hull figure holds low, so its displayed Health rises mostly on the shield side. As an Explorer, it already holds the type advantage over Interceptors, so a combat crew leans into that matchup instead of fighting it. For a grade 3 common hull, most players run whatever early officers they have leveled, then move the good ones onto a bigger ship once one is available. For current picks by tier, see the Officer Tier List. Crews shift with the meta, so treat any single lineup as a starting point rather than a fixed answer.

The Vahklas in Star Trek

The Vahklas is a real piece of Star Trek canon.
