The Envoy is a Common, Grade 2 Survey ship in Star Trek Fleet Command, an upgraded ECS freighter built for hauling and Tritanium mining. Its Tritanium Mining Laser raises how fast it pulls Tritanium, and its large cargo hold makes it a dependable early economy ship. You can build it once your Shipyard reaches level 16. For a low-grade miner, it earns its slot well into the mid game.<\/p>\n

<\/span>How to get the Envoy<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Envoy unlocks at Shipyard level 16 and needs the Unlock Envoy research before you can start construction. Building one costs 30 blueprints and 21,000 Tritanium for the first tier, with a build time of 17h 30m. Tritanium is the same resource the Envoy is best at mining, so an early Envoy helps pay for its own upgrades and for the rest of your early ship queue. Blueprint sources rotate over time, so confirm where the Envoy’s blueprints are currently offered inside the game before you commit.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Envoy ability<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Envoy’s ship ability is the Tritanium Mining Laser, which increases its Tritanium mining rate. It starts at 15% at level 1 and climbs to 150% at level 35. Ship abilities are always active, so the bonus applies every time the Envoy is out mining. In practice this makes the Envoy a focused Tritanium hauler: park it on a Tritanium node and it fills faster than a ship without a mining bonus, while its cargo hold keeps more of the haul safe.<\/p>\n

Tritanium is the backbone building material of the early game, going into ship upgrades and station buildings alike, so a ship that pulls it faster keeps your whole base moving. The bonus only touches Tritanium, though, so the Envoy is a specialist. Keep a separate miner for gas, ore, and crystal, and send the Envoy where Tritanium nodes are richest.<\/p>\n

Mining speed climbs alongside the tiers, from 2.25 at Tier 1 to 6.45 at Tier 7, and that is the number that matters most on a dedicated miner. Notice that hull HP stays flat at 640 across every tier while shield HP grows from 640 to 3,870; the Envoy leans on its shields, not its hull, and it is not built to trade blows in combat.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Scrapping the Envoy<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Envoy is scrappable once your Betrieb<\/a> reach level 16. When you outgrow it, sending it to the Scrapyard returns a batch of Tritanium and Dilithium along with Survey ship parts you can reinvest in your next miner, so a maxed Envoy is not wasted. Because it is a cheap, common hull, plenty of players keep an Envoy around specifically as a scrap feeder after it stops earning its place on active mining runs.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Weapons and firing pattern<\/span><\/h2>\n

Warm-up is the round a weapon first fires; cool-down is how many rounds pass between shots after that. The Envoy carries a single energy weapon, so its combat is minimal and it is meant to mine, not fight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span>Crew for the Envoy<\/span><\/h2>\n

As a Survey ship, the Envoy wants a mining crew, not a combat one. Look for officers who raise mining speed or protected cargo, and let them stack with the Envoy’s own Tritanium bonus for the fastest Tritanium runs. Officers that increase protected cargo are especially handy if you mine in contested space, since they shield more of your haul from being stolen when the ship is attacked. Because it is a low-grade utility ship, you rarely need a specialized bridge; a couple of solid mining officers cover it, and you can move them to a better hull later without much loss.<\/p>\n
