To Thieve A Catch is a level 60 mission in Star Trek Fleet Command where a boastful space angler hires you to recover his prize-winning dobymick, a space pike the size of an orca, after it is stolen. Everything happens in the Shaz system, which needs warp 700 to start and to complete. There is one fight and a 750,000 Dilithium bribe along the way. The rewards are 1,080,000,000 Dilithium, 18,000 Latinum, twenty 1B Parsteel Tokens and three 2 Hr Peace Shields, which more than cover the bribe.<\/p>\n
Angler Ravik broadcasts that his winning fish from the annual dobymick competition has been stolen, and offers half the prize money to whoever gets it back. Maia thinks it will make a diverting job, so you fly to Shaz to meet him.<\/p>\n
Ravik blames his rival, Snapper Joh, and the visit turns into a shouting match that ends with Joh opening fire. Once he is beaten, Maia doubts a rival would be that obvious and suggests the black market instead. Your contact, Tozah, knows where the fish is but will only talk for 750,000 Dilithium, after haggling up from Maia’s 500,000 offer. The trail ends at a scavenger shanty on Gratz, where a young scavenger named Fizu admits the whole village has already eaten the fish. Ravik demands that you destroy the village, so Maia leaves him on a nearby moon instead, with a warning about what happens if the village comes to harm.<\/p>\n
There is no choice split. Every player pays the contact, and every player leaves Ravik behind.<\/p>\n
The pickup system is Shaz, and every objective with a location is in Shaz too, including the Gratz slums and its moon. Warp 700 is needed both to start and to complete, so once you can reach Shaz you have the range for the whole mission. The recommended level is 60.<\/p>\n
