After the uncrewed Daedalus vanishes inside the Void, Starfleet decides to send a crewed ship after it, and you go to the Vacuum Epicenter to deal with the fallout. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 205 to complete. The reward is a 10 Day Speed Up and 170 5\u2605 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/tag\/common-officers\/\"   title=\"Common-Offiziere\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"21395\">Gemeinsame<\/a> Battleship Parts, and finishing it unlocks <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/the-frontier\/\">The Frontier<\/a>. It is a short, fight-free step in the chain.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Journey_into_Unknown_objectives\"><\/span>Journey into Unknown objectives<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>All three objectives take place in the Vacuum Epicenter, and there is no choice split:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Speak with Captain Mboye. Location: Vacuum Epicenter.<\/li>\n<li>Attach a sensor device to the Alexandria. Location: Vacuum Epicenter.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the voyage. Location: Vacuum Epicenter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The mission summary says your goal is to persuade Starfleet to abandon the crewed trip, but Admiral Tchezky will not be talked out of it. He blames the lost <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/tag\/command-class-officers\/\"   title=\"Offiziere der Kommandoklasse\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"21393\">Command<\/a> link to the Daedalus on cosmic interference and ion radiation, and he has Captain Mboye preparing the Alexandria to go in with a crew aboard. Since you cannot stop the launch, the next best move is to fix a sensor to the Alexandria&#8217;s hull so you get readings from the far side of the Void. The last step has you pull back to an observation point and watch the ship enter. The <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/daten\/\"   title=\"Offiziersdaten\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"21394\">Daten<\/a> will take time to come back, and the mission closes on that open question.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_and_what_warp\"><\/span>Wo und welcher Warp<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There is no pickup system listed. Journey into Unknown arrives through the storyline after <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/eskalation\/\">Eskalation<\/a>, whose level 61 version ends with upgrading Operations to level 61. It needs warp 1 to start and warp 205 to complete, the same warp the Void missions before it asked for, because every objective sits in the Vacuum Epicenter. None of the three steps is a fight or a hostile grind, so there is no need to swap in a combat crew. Treat it as a quick hand-in before the bigger trip ahead.<\/p>\n<p>Plan for the warp jump that follows. The Frontier and Something of an Expert both need warp 700 to complete, more than three times what this mission asks for. If your best ship tops out near 205, now is the time to work on that before you move on.<\/p>\n<p>The Frontier pays a second 10 Day Speed Up, so running the two back to back gives you a pair of them to spend on station upgrades.
