First Place, First Contact is a level 62 Federation mission in Star Trek Fleet Command. Captain Raymond of the USS Manhattan and his Vulcan rival, Captain Shryl, agree to race across the Anadine Belt, and they ask you to judge. Partway through, Raymond asks you to tip the race his way. You pick it up in New Bombay and need warp 1,000 to start and to finish. There are no fights, but either choice costs 3,000 \u03a3-Tritanium, and both pay 614,000 of a raw \u03a3 resource.<\/p>\n
The first three objectives are the same for everyone:<\/p>\n
Raymond is tired of Shryl treating his crew as second rate and proposes the race; the first ship through the belt and back wins. When Shryl pulls ahead, Raymond claims the Vulcan ship carries non-regulation tech and asks you to even things out. Whichever way you decide, you spend \u03a3-Tritanium to knock one captain’s navigation offline.<\/p>\n
Maia agrees to help if Shryl really is cheating. The Manhattan wins in a photo finish, and Shryl notes that the margin was only seventy-three kilometers despite his systems failing. Rewards on this path: 256,000 6\u2605 Raw Crystal and 614,000 Raw \u03a3-Tritanium.<\/p>\n
Maia refuses to help anyone cheat, then catches Raymond trying to do it himself and shuts down his navigation instead. Shryl wins. Rewards on this path: 1 Mukull Time-piece and 614,000 Raw \u03a3-Dilithium<\/a>.<\/p>\n Both paths also pay 3,600 Federation Credits and 114,000,000 Federation Points, and both take away 254,448,000 Klingonisch<\/a> Points and 56,544,000 Romulanisch<\/a> Points.<\/p>\n The mission is picked up in New Bombay. You meet the Manhattan in Sigrun, watch the start in Triga-5 and see the finish in Vucinich. Warp 1,000 is needed both to start and to complete.
