You collect 20,000 Enhanced Independent Archives Schematics and then upgrade the Independent Archives to level 71. Warp 1 is all it needs, since nothing happens away from your station. The reward is 6,160,000 Latinum plus 2,000 Enhanced Independent Archives Schematics back.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Extra_Credit_objectives\"><\/span>Extra Credit objectives<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>With the other cadets hogging the <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/holodeck\/\"   title=\"HOLODECK\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"20722\">Holodeck<\/a>, SAM and Jay-Den ran an improvement analysis on your station and found room for a library. There are two steps and no choice split:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Obtain 20k Enhanced Independent Archives Schematics.<\/li>\n<li>Upgrade the Independent Archives to level 71.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once the upgrade is done, the cadets unveil the Academic Library and ask whether the work earns them extra credit. Maia agrees, and Jay-Den mentions that <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/the-doctor\/\"   title=\"STFC The Doctor: officer guide, abilities, and best ships\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"20721\">the Doctor<\/a> is already filling its shelves with scientific texts.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_and_what_warp\"><\/span>Wo und welcher Warp<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Everything happens on your station. Warp 1 is listed to start and to complete, and there is no pickup system or hostile. The Independent Archives itself is first built much earlier, in the level 16 mission <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/personal-records\/\">Personal Records<\/a>, which pays 250 of the basic Independent Archives Schematics.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tips\"><\/span>Tips<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Start collecting schematics before you pick this up. Maia&#8217;s advice in the mission is to claim the free Enhanced Independent Archives Schematics, convert your old ones through the Gifts section, and refine <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/tag\/science-class-officers\/\"   title=\"Beauftragte f\u00fcr die wissenschaftliche Klasse\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"20720\">Wissenschaft<\/a> Credits in the Academy Refinery for more. The 20,000 target is the slow part of the mission; the upgrade itself can wait until you have them.<\/p>\n<p>The 2,000 schematics in the reward are a tenth of what you spent, so count them as a partial refund toward your next <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/independent-archives\/\">Independent Archives<\/a> level rather than a real gain.<\/p>\n<p>Six million <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/latinum\/\">Latinum<\/a> is the reason to do it. SAM and Jay-Den are cadets from your <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/akademie\/\">Akademie<\/a>, and other station and story missions at this level are listed on the <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/missionsleitfaden\/\">mission guide<\/a>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Extra Credit in STFC: a level 71 station mission.
