It goes about as well as the title suggests. The recommended level is 61, the mission starts at warp 1 and needs warp 500 to complete, the longest trip in this story. Rewards include 71,000 6\u2605 Broken Interceptor Parts and 1,350,000,000 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/dilithium\/\"   title=\"Dilithium\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"20412\">Dilithium<\/a>, for two fights, a hostile sweep and a big Parsteel payment.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"part-1\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"IDIQ_5_No_Plan_Survives_First_Contact_Part_2\"><\/span>IDIQ 5: No Plan Survives First Contact Part 2<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The story line is to find a new way to tackle the Collective&#8217;s threat. The Resistance lacks the firepower for a large strike, so Dalen suggests Ana&#8217;Wi, where recent Borg activity has weakened the Mavericks, as a safer place to try Q Junior&#8217;s idea.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Move to a safer location to test Q Junior&#8217;s new plan, in Ana&#8217;Wi.<\/li>\n<li>Defeat 8 Hostiles of Level 60 or higher.<\/li>\n<li>Protect your allies, in Ana&#8217;Wi (enemy strength ~2,127,123,225).<\/li>\n<li>Construct bio-molecular warheads with 10B Parsteel to weaken Species 8472.<\/li>\n<li>Send Species 8472 back to the fluidic space, in Ana&#8217;Wi (enemy strength ~2,127,123,225).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Q Junior brings in Species 8472, fixes their translator and gets their leader, whom he names Jerry, to agree to help. Together you clear eight hostiles of level 60 or higher. Once the Borg are gone, Species 8472 decide your group is the next threat and open fire on Dalen, which is the first of the two fights. Q Junior then finds he cannot send them away, so your officer proposes bio-molecular torpedoes, paid for with 10B <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/parsteel\/\">Parsteel<\/a>. The second fight knocks out their weapons, and Q Junior finally sends them home. There is no choice split. Warp 500 is a long way even for a level 61 commander, and the travel will take longer than the fights.<\/p>\n<p>Have 10B Parsteel ready before you reach the fourth objective. It sits between the two fights, so running short means leaving the mission paused with an enemy still on the board.<\/p>\n<p>Both <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/species-8472-bio-ship\/\">Art 8472<\/a> fights are listed at about 2.13 billion strength, and they come after a sweep of eight level 60 or higher hostiles. Repair after the sweep so you face the first Species 8472 ship at full health.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Are_the_IDIQ_5_No_Plan_Survives_First_Contact_rewards_worth_it\"><\/span>Are the IDIQ 5: No Plan Survives First Contact rewards worth it?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Yes, if you can cover the travel. The 71,000 6\u2605 Broken Interceptor Parts and 90,000 6\u2605 Raw Crystal are the long-term value, and 1.35 billion Dilithium goes a fair way toward offsetting the 10B Parsteel cost. The 50 Quantum Communicators are a bonus.
