You follow the Pakleds who attacked the U.S.S. Gracie back to their drought-stricken homeworld and help with the relief effort. The game lists a recommended level of 61, the mission starts at warp 1 and needs warp 22 to complete, and it runs through <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/elona-13-neutral\/\">Elona<\/a> und <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/alhazar\/\">Alhazar<\/a>. Both choices pay 3,000 \u03a3-Tritanium, 100,000 6\u2605 Broken Survey Parts, 128,000 6\u2605 Raw <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/gas\/\"   title=\"Rohgas\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"17955\">Gas<\/a> and 300 Sector Prism.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"part-3\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"IDIC_3_Cetacean_Federation_Part_3\"><\/span>IDIC 3: Cetacean Federation Part 3<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The story line asks you to find out why the Pakleds attacked the Cetacean <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/foderation\/\"   title=\"F\u00f6derationsfraktion\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"17959\">F\u00f6deration<\/a>. The answer is thirst: a disaster has drained their world&#8217;s water, and the Gracie&#8217;s crew decides to help rather than punish them.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pursue the Pakleds, in Elona.<\/li>\n<li>Defeat 2 hostiles of Level 12 or higher.<\/li>\n<li>Follow the Pakleds, to Alhazar.<\/li>\n<li>Descend below the smog, in Alhazar.<\/li>\n<li>Donate 20.9B Parsteel to the relief effort.<\/li>\n<li>Choose how to resupply the Pakleds&#8217; water.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The mission then splits in two. The donation comes right after you descend below the smog, and the mission cannot continue until it is paid.<\/p>\n<p>At the water choice, the Dilithium path is the fastest: one payment of 690M Dilithium and you are done. The other path costs nothing but time, since you collect water ice and deliver it without leaving Alhazar. If Dilithium is tight, take the second path. The rewards are identical either way.<\/p>\n<p>Combat is light. The two hostiles of level 12 or higher are the only fights, and there is no named enemy in this mission.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Are_the_IDIC_3_Cetacean_Federation_rewards_worth_it\"><\/span>Are the IDIC 3: Cetacean Federation rewards worth it?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Yes, if you can afford the Parsteel. This is the best payout of the three Cetacean Federation missions: 100,000 6\u2605 Broken Survey Parts and 128,000 6\u2605 Raw Gas are sizeable at level 61, and the 3,000 \u03a3-Tritanium and 300 Sector Prism round it out. The 20.9B Parsteel donation is the real price, so run it when your stock can take the hit. The IDIC series continues with the Darmok Amok missions.
