Ship power is the range across every level that target appears at, so the low figure is the entry version and the high figure is the endgame one.<\/p>\n

Borg content splits across several related factions. The main Borg group and the assimilated Galor-class line are counted here. Assimilated and Ex-Borg are separate factions with their own targets and, in the Ex-Borg case, their own reputation store.<\/p>\n

<\/span>What Borg targets drop<\/span><\/h2>\n

Across the whole faction the recurring drops are Outpost Retaliation Medal, Retaliation Plunder, Solo Outpost Credits, Elite Solo Outpost Credits, Uncommon Solo Outpost Components and Inert Nanoprobe. Those are what you are actually farming for, and they are the reason to pick one target over another at the same level.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Which Borg target to fight<\/span><\/h2>\n

The split that matters is nanoprobes<\/a> against outpost credits. The Cube, Tactical Cube, Assimilator Cube and the three Mega Cube components all pay Active Nanoprobes at levels 25 to 40, which is the early and mid game. From level 53 the Galor-class and Solo Outpost lines take over and pay Solo Outpost Credits and Retaliation Medals instead.<\/p>\n

The Expansion Cube sits on its own track, paying Vinculum Fragments, and the Sphere and Recon Sphere are the two that carry the Foreknowledge buff for the Vi\u2019dar<\/a> Talios.<\/p>\n
