Current game <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/daten\/\"   title=\"Offiziersdaten\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"8163\">Daten<\/a> carries names for more than fifty, and around thirty of those matter to you in some practical way: a store you can unlock, a reputation ladder you can climb, or hostiles you will be grinding for parts.<\/p>\n<p>This page indexes all of them, with what each one is for and where to read more.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_three_core_factions\"><\/span>The three core factions<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Federation, Klingon and Romulan are the ones the whole reputation system is built around. Your standing with each is linked, so building one usually costs you the other two, and that trade shapes most of the mid game.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/foderation\/\">F\u00f6deration<\/a> ships are built to last, with strong shields and hulls that outlive opponents in long fights.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/klingonisch\/\">Klingonisch<\/a> ships are built to hit hard, favouring damage and critical hits over defense.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/romulanisch\/\">Romulanisch<\/a> ships sit in between, combining shield penetration with high critical damage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each of those pages lists that faction&#8217;s ships, <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/star-trek-fleet-command-officers\/\"   title=\"Star Trek Fleet Command Beamtinnen und Beamte\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"8161\">Offiziere<\/a>, hostiles, missions and star systems.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_faction_reputation_works\"><\/span>How faction reputation works<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Reputation is a running score with each faction. It rises when you complete their missions and kill their enemies, and falls when you attack them or side against them. Drop below Tolerated with one of the core three and their hostiles will attack you on sight in their space.<\/p>\n<p>The score maps onto a 35-tier ladder, and five points on that ladder are locks. Pass a lock and your reputation can never fall below it again, which is what lets you farm one faction freely while building another. The <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/fraktionsruf\/\">Fraktionsruf<\/a> page has the full ladder, every threshold and the lock points.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Factions_with_their_own_store\"><\/span>Factions with their own store<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>These factions have a reputation track and a store you can spend their currency in. Every point is permanent from the moment you earn it.<\/p>\n<p>Augment carries one warning. Positive Augment standing can cause bounty hunters in Augment space to attack you, which is the opposite of how the core three behave.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Factions_you_meet_as_hostiles\"><\/span>Factions you meet as hostiles<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Most of the remaining factions exist as things to shoot. They have no store and no reputation ladder, but they field a lot of targets and they gate real content.<\/p>\n<p>The heaviest presence by number of hostiles in the game data:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/akademie\/\"   title=\"Akademie\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"8162\">Akademie<\/a><\/strong> fields 234, the combat training targets that appear across the level range.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Borg<\/strong> fields 210, counting the standard Borg ships and the assimilated Galor-class line, and has the deepest armada content in the game. Andorian, Vulcan, Arkonian, Suliban and Corvallen all carry full descriptions in the game data and appear through officers, missions and story, but you will not find fleets of them to grind.<\/p>\n<p>The Orion Syndicate is its own case: an organised crime network rather than a government, with a progression track that works nothing like faction reputation. It has <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/orion-syndikat\/\">its own page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_reputation_moves_fastest\"><\/span>Where reputation moves fastest<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Killing faction traders gives more reputation for their level than any other target, so they are the efficient grind.
