The Interphasic Mirror is an Uncommon Chaos Tech artifact in Star Trek Fleet Command that you slot onto a ship. It does two things when you fight hostiles and armadas: it builds Isolytic Cascade damage for a round after your ship takes a hit, and it lowers the Isolytic Damage those same targets deal to you. It suits players who grind hostiles and run armadas and want their ship to give back some of the punishment it soaks up.<\/p>\n

The main draw is the Isolytic Cascade buff. After your ship is hit by a hostile or an armada target, the Mirror raises your Isolytic Cascade damage for one round. Both buffs are live from the first tier, so upgrading is about scaling the numbers rather than waiting for a later effect to unlock. At max the offensive bonus reaches 10% and the damage reduction reaches 30%, which is why the piece earns its keep in longer fights where Isolytic Damage adds up.<\/p>\n

<\/span>How to get the Interphasic Mirror<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Interphasic Mirror runs on the Chaos Tech economy rather than the standard Forbidden Tech materials. You unlock a Chaos Tech slot on your ship (or clear an existing piece off it) with Chaos Tech Fusion Rods, which come from the Continuum refinery or the Store. If you end up with spare Chaos Tech shards, they convert into Chaos Tech Fragments, and you exchange those into Chaos Tech materials back in the Continuum refinery. That refinery loop is the throughline for everything this piece needs.<\/p>\n

Two upgrade tracks run in parallel. Tiering up costs Chaos Tech Tier-Up Catalyst and raises the level cap, and leveling up costs Chaosmatter and Chaos Tech Reactor and scales the buff values toward their maximums. You earn Chaosmatter and Chaos Tech Reactor by defeating Assimilated El-Aurian hostiles and exchanging their loot in the Continuum refinery, or from the Store. <\/span>Best ships and uses for the Interphasic Mirror<\/span><\/h2>\n

Both buffs key off hostiles and armadas, so this is a piece for a combat ship, not a miner or a survey vessel. Put it on the ship your grinding crew flies against hostiles, or on an armada ship where the reduced Isolytic Damage helps it survive longer rounds.
