The [PRO] Borg Operating Table<\/strong> is an Epic Forbidden Tech, a prototype artifact you slot onto the Borg Sphere. Its headline effect is a large Warp Speed boost for the Sphere, backed by buffs that raise your damage and blunt the enemy’s against Conqueror Borg Suppressors and Obliterators. It does one job well: turning the Borg Sphere into a faster, harder-hitting answer to Conqueror Borg targets. Chase it if you run that content.<\/p>\n

<\/span>What the Borg Operating Table does<\/span><\/h2>\n

Every buff on this piece is tied to the Borg Sphere. The warp buff is active from the start, while the three combat buffs switch on as you tier the piece up, and each one only applies against Conqueror Borg Suppressors and Obliterators. Values scale with the item’s level once the buff has unlocked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

In play that means a fully built piece lets the Sphere reach Conqueror Borg armada nodes faster, then strips their defenses through Apex Shred while trading critical hits in your favor. All four numbers reflect the current game data and shift if the game rebalances them.<\/p>\n

<\/span>How to get the Borg Operating Table<\/span><\/h2>\n

This is an Epic Forbidden Tech, so you unlock it with Epic Forbidden Fragments in the Forbidden Tech refinery. You earn more Fragments through Q’s Trials and special rewards. Before you can equip any Forbidden Tech you also need a free slot on your ship, which you open with Forbidden Tech Fusion Rods; the same Rods let you pull a piece back off a ship later. Fusion Rods come from the Forbidden Tech refinery and the Store. If you end up with spare Forbidden Tech parts, you can exchange the resulting Forbidden Tech Credit Pieces for Forbidden Tech Credits in the refinery.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Upgrading the Borg Operating Table<\/span><\/h2>\n

Two tracks raise the piece. Tiering up with Forbidden Tech Tier-Up Catalysts raises the level cap and switches on the later buffs at the tiers shown above, and leveling up with Forbidden Tech Protomatter scales the values between those caps. Upgrade attempts also draw on Forbidden Tech Reactors, and Probability Devices raise your upgrade chances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

<\/span>Best ships and uses for the Borg Operating Table<\/span><\/h2>\n

This piece is locked to the Borg Sphere, so there is no debate about where it goes. Every combat buff targets Conqueror Borg Suppressors and Obliterators, which are Borg armada content, so the Operating Table belongs on your Borg Sphere armada crew. <\/span>The Borg Operating Table in Star Trek<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Borg assimilate by replacing organic tissue with cybernetic implants, a process shown across The Next Generation, First Contact, and Voyager whenever a captive is fitted with Borg hardware. The Operating Table is not a named prop from any single episode; it is the game’s take on the surgical rig the Collective would use to install those implants and keep a damaged drone alive. The in-game lore leans into that idea, casting the table as both an assimilation tool and a life-support system with uses the Collective keeps to itself.<\/p>\n

It is a specialist. For players grinding Conqueror Borg Suppressors and Obliterators on the Borg Sphere, an Epic piece with a 2500% Apex Shred ceiling and a big warp buff earns its slot. For everyone else it sits idle, since it does nothing outside that fight.
