Combat in STFC runs on a hull triangle: Interceptors beat Battleships, Battleships beat Explorers, and Explorers beat Interceptors. Survey ships barely fight, so leave them docked. The Battlebarge shows up as all three hull types across its level band, so read the target’s hull before you engage. Bring an Interceptor for the Battleship version, a Battleship for the Explorer version, and an Explorer for the Interceptor version.<\/p>\n
