There are no spawns between levels 29 and 46. The Assimilated Ship appears as all three combat hulls, so check the variant and bring its counter class. The low band drops Parsteel, Tritanium and Dilithium; the high band drops 4★ Broken Parts for all three hulls plus Pattern Disruptors.

Assimilated Ship locations

The two bands live in very different territory. The level 26 to 28 version sits in Torana, a warp 22 system most early ships can reach. The level 47 to 51 version is out in warp 185 space across four systems. That warp requirement is the real gate on the high band, so plan your ship and engine upgrades before you go hunting Pattern Disruptors. Once you outlevel Torana, your next stop is deep space.

Ebene

Warp

Systeme

Main drops

26–28

22

Torana

Parsteel, Tritanium, Dilithium

47–51

185

Beta Sector, Corsen, Rek’Sgar, Weima

4★ Broken Parts (all three hulls), Pattern Disruptor

Pattern Disruptor farming

If you are here for Pattern Disruptors, only the level 47 to 51 band drops them, at 2 to 29 per kill, alongside 516 to 1,418 of each 4★ Broken Parts type. Besides defeating Assimilated hostiles, you also get them from the missions Beneath the Surface und Trust Your Instincts.

For a steady farm, park a ship that counters the most gemeinsame variant you see in one of the four level 47 to 51 systems and work through the spawns there. Each kill also pays 2,501 to 2,929 ship XP at those levels, so the grind levels your ship as it fills your research stock.

How to beat the Assimilated Ship

The Assimilated Ship uses every hull type in the combat triangle, so the right ship depends on the variant in front of you. The triangle works like this: Interceptors beat Battleships, Battleships beat Explorers, and Explorers beat Interceptors, while Survey-Schiffe barely fight and should stay home. Tap the hostile to see its hull before committing. Against the Battleship variant, bring an Interceptor. Against the Explorer variant, bring a Battleship. Against the Interceptor variant, bring an Explorer. The matchup works in both directions (your shots hit harder and its shots hit softer), so if you farm these in volume it pays to keep more than one grinder ready and pick targets that match the counter you have parked in the system. It has no ship ability, so there is nothing else to plan around.

For crew, follow the standard anti-hostile formula: a captain whose ability raises weapon damage against hostiles, backed by officers that add damage or reduce what comes back at you. In the 26 to 28 band the classic cadet crew holds up well, with Cadet Kirk as captain plus Cadet Spock and Cadet Uhura. By the time you are hunting the 47 to 51 spawns you will want deeper options; see the Officer Tier List for current picks by roster depth. Crews shift with the meta, so treat any named combination as a starting point.

Belohnungen und Drops

The drop table changes completely between bands. At levels 47 to 51 it drops 4★ Broken Interceptor, Explorer and Battleship Parts at 516 to 1,418 per kill, along with 2 to 29 Pattern Disruptors. Captured crews become drones, and captured vessels are refitted with Borg technology, which is what an Assimilated Ship is: a stolen hull flying under collective control. The Borg’s most famous victim is Captain Picard, assimilated as Locutus in The Best of Both Worlds, and they went on to anchor the film First Contact and much of Voyager.

Is the Assimilated Ship worth grinding?

Yes in both bands, for different reasons.
