Baelosian Guardian is a Federation battleship hostile that patrols Federation space between levels 50 and 60. It spawns only as a Battleship, so an Interceptor is the ship to bring. Kills drop 5-star Broken Battleship Parts along with Klingon and Romulanisch<\/a> reputation, paid for with a hit to your Federation standing. Its Plausible Deniability ability heals its shields in the opening rounds, so the goal is to hit hard and finish the fight quickly.<\/p>\n

<\/span>How to beat the Baelosian Guardian<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Baelosian Guardian only appears as a Battleship, which means one counter covers every level: bring an Interceptor. Interceptors beat Schlachtschiffe<\/a>, so you take reduced damage while dealing extra. There is nothing to swap between level 50 and level 60, since the hull stays the same the whole way up.<\/p>\n

Watch its ship ability, Plausible Deniability. It recovers a share of the ship’s total shield HP for the first 5 rounds of combat, scaling with level: 10% at levels 50 to 52, 15% at 53 to 55, and 20% at 56 to 60, so a slow, grinding fight lets it keep topping its shields back up. The Baelosian Guardian clusters in Federation systems. The lower levels, 50 through 55, sit at warp 185 to 230 in systems such as Clara, Draumen, and Sementi. As the level climbs it moves outward: by level 57 you are looking at warp 320 and beyond, out in Cynderin, Garyf, and Mullins.
