Both parts are built for level 38 commanders and send you out to warp 65. The chain opens in Veringan and runs through the Nygea and Minkalal systems before circling back. Part 1 pays out Chakotay officer shards and a block of Ship XP; Part 2 closes with Officer XP, Latinum, and 3★ raw Erze. It is short, combat-heavy, and worth running if you are collecting Chakotay. The chain is really one story split in two: Part 1 sets up the hunt for Voyager, and Part 2 delivers the twist and the final fight.

Silver Scar at a glance

Teil

Recommended level

Warp to complete

Key reward

Silberne Narbe Teil 1

38

65

Chakotay shards + 80,000 Ship XP

Silver Scar Part 2

38

65

104,000 Officer XP + 1,400 Latinum

Silberne Narbe Teil 1

The chain starts with a warning: Voyager is reportedly destroying worlds across the Delta Quadrant, and your commander sets out to find the survivors and confront the ship. You pick the mission up in the Veringan system, and every objective after that pulls you further out, so plan the run around a warp 65 trip.

Reise zum Nygea-System.

Help the survivors on Draban, in the Nygea system.

Reise zum Minkalal-System.

Defeat Voyager, in the Minkalal system.

Repair the ship, in the Minkalal system.

The first two objectives are travel and story steps in Nygea, where you reach Draban and help the survivors. The mission then moves you to Minkalal for the fight against Voyager. That battle is the one combat step in this part, and it is followed by a repair objective, so you finish Part 1 patching your ship back up before the chain continues. Recommended level is 38 and warp to complete is 65.

Rewards for Part 1 are a batch of Chakotay officer shards and 80,000 Ship XP. Completing this part unlocks Part 2, so treat clearing it as the gate to the rest of the chain rather than a stopping point.

Silver Scar Part 2

Part 2 turns the story around. When your commander finally corners Voyager, the confrontation uncovers who the real threat is, and the fight shifts to a new enemy called the Silver Scar. This part opens close to home at warp 1, but it still reaches warp 65 to complete, so budget for the same travel range as Part 1.

Folgen Sie der Voyager zum Nygea-System.

Defeat Voyager, in the Nygea system.

Escape the Silver Scar, back in the Veringan system.

Defeat the Silver Scar, in the Veringan system.

Offer the Silver Scar a way out, in the Veringan system.

You start by trailing Voyager to Nygea and defeating it there, then the mission sends you back toward Veringan for the confrontation with the Silver Scar. That means two separate ship fights fairly close together: Voyager first in Nygea, then the Silver Scar in Veringan. The final objective is a story choice to offer the Silver Scar a way out, which closes the chain. It is a story beat rather than another combat gate, so once the Silver Scar is down you can wrap the chain without extra grinding. Recommended level is 38.

Rewards for Part 2 are 104,000 Officer XP, 1,400 Latinum, and 1,200 units of 3★ raw ore.

Tips for completing Silver Scar

Both parts reach warp 65, which is a long jump for a level 38 commander, so check your warp range before you start and top off fuel for the round trips out to Nygea and Minkalal. If your ship cannot make warp 65 in a single jump, map a refuel stop along the way so you are not stranded mid-mission.

The combat is front-loaded onto Voyager and then the Silver Scar rather than spread across small hostiles, so bring a crew set up for ship battles rather than mining. Clear your repair dock before Part 1’s final step so you are not stuck waiting on a long repair timer, and heal up between the two fights in Part 2, since Nygea and Veringan come one after the other.

Because Part 1 hands out Chakotay shards, the chain is most worth prioritizing when you are actively collecting him. The Latinum and 3★ raw ore from Part 2 slot into standard resource stockpiles, so they are useful whenever you run it.

Are the Silver Scar rewards worth it?

The headline draw is Chakotay. Part 1 gives you a batch of his shards, and the chain rounds out with 104,000 Officer XP, 1,400 Latinum, and 1,200 units of 3★ raw ore. For a level 38 chain of ten short objectives, that is a solid return if you want Chakotay or need the XP and Latinum to keep Offiziere moving. If you already have him where you want him, the rest is decent but not urgent, and you can slot the chain in whenever the warp 65 trips are convenient.

On the resource side, the 1,200 units of 3★ raw ore feed into refining for ship and building upgrades around this level bracket, and the Latinum goes toward the premium store, so neither reward is wasted even if Chakotay is not your goal. The 104,000 Officer XP is enough to move an officer up a promotion tier, which helps if you are still building out your bridge crews at level 38.

Silver Scar is a two-part STFC mission chain for level 38.
