It needs only warp 1 to start and finish, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is 125 Tritanium, and finishing it unlocks Upgrade <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/rd-abteilung\/\"   title=\"F&amp;E-Abteilung\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"11629\">F&amp;E-Abteilung<\/a> to Level 6. The upgrade costs 1,750 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/parsteel\/\"   title=\"Parsteel\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"11625\">Parsteel<\/a> and 26 minutes, so this is one of the quickest missions to clear.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Upgrade_Shipyard_Level_5_objectives\"><\/span>Upgrade Shipyard: Level 5 objectives<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The story line says to upgrade the Shipyard to gain access to new and more powerful ships. There is a single objective and no choice split:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Upgrade Shipyard to Level 5.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No system, hostile or donation is involved. The mission completes as soon as the upgrade finishes.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_and_what_warp\"><\/span>Wo und welcher Warp<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Warp 1 to start, warp 1 to complete, and no pickup system. The whole mission happens on your station.<\/p>\n<p>The recommended level is 1. They start at 3% at level 2, reach 6% here, and climb to 14% by level 10.<\/p>\n<p>The requirements explain where this mission sits. The mission before it asks you to upgrade the R&#038;D Department to level 5, which is exactly what Shipyard 5 needs. The jump gets steeper later on: by Level 10 the Shipyard mission pays 500 Tritanium.<\/p>\n<p>Upgrade costs climb faster than the rewards. Shipyard 10 costs 150 Tritanium and 10,000 Parsteel, takes 3 hours 20 minutes, and needs Operations 10 and R&#038;D Department 10. Level 5 at 26 minutes is still in the range where you can finish the upgrade in one sitting.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tips\"><\/span>Tips<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Do R&#038;D first. If the upgrade button is greyed out, check the R&#038;D Department. It must be at level 5, and the previous mission in the chain walks you there.<\/p>\n<p>Keep the Tritanium for Operations.
