Three objectives, no fighting, and one very large bill: 60,000 Dilithium handed to a human aerodynamicist on Risa. Finish it and you walk away with 3 3★ Rare Refined Kristall and 750 Klingonisch Recruit Tokens, plus the next part of the chain.

Passage to Wisdom objectives

The story is simple enough. You are ferrying a Gorn scientist to a meeting with a human aerodynamicist, and the two of them want to finish a landing craft design. Getting them in the same room takes a broker, a trip to a resort system, and a payment.

Visit the broker to set up the deal with the aerodynamicist. Location: Deneva.

Meet with Doctor Newson on Risa. Location: Risa.

Pay Newson 60,000 Dilithium for the landing craft designs.

Work through them in that order. The broker in Deneva is what opens the meeting on Risa, and the payment closes the mission out. There is no branch here and no choice to make, so nothing you do changes what you get at the end.

Wo und welcher Warp

Pick the mission up in H’Atoria. You need warp 22 to reach it and warp 22 to see it through, so a single ship with that range covers the whole run. That warp number is the real gate on this one. If your best ship tops out below 22, the mission sits in your log until you push your warp research and your ship’s warp range higher.

After H’Atoria the route runs through Deneva and then Risa. Neither leg lists an enemy, so this is travel and conversation rather than combat. You can fly it in whatever hull you like as long as it makes the jumps.

Passage to Wisdom rewards

Completing the mission pays out:

3 3★ Seltene Veredelter Kristall

750 Klingon Recruit Token

Finishing it also opens the next part of the chain, so the mission is a gate as much as a payout.

The Recruit Tokens are the part most players care about. 750 of them goes straight into Klingonenfraktion recruiting, which is how you build up Klingon officer shards without grinding faction ships for hours. The Refined Crystal is small but useful if you are mid-way through a research node or a ship build that wants 3★ refined material.

Tips

Bank the Dilithium before you start. 60,000 is the whole point of failure on this mission, and there is no way around it: Newson does not hand over the designs for anything else. If your Dilithium is tied up in research or officer recruiting, park the mission until you have the full amount sitting free, because getting halfway and then stalling on Risa is just wasted flight time.

Check your warp range before you accept. Warp 22 is a real requirement at both ends, and there is no shorter route to Deneva or Risa that gets around it.

Bring a ship you do not mind parking. None of the three objectives is a fight, so cargo capacity, protected cargo, and combat stats do not matter here. Speed and warp range do. A survey ship or anything fast with the range will finish this faster than your main battleship.

Are the Passage to Wisdom rewards worth it?

For 60,000 Dilithium and a few jumps, the payout is thin on its own. The Recruit Tokens carry it: 750 is a meaningful push toward Klingon officer shards, and the Refined Crystal is a small bonus on top. The bigger reason to run it is the chain. This part unlocks what comes next, so if you want the rest of the storyline you are paying Newson sooner or later.

Passage to Wisdom in STFC: pick it up in H’Atoria at warp 22, pay 60,000 Dilithium on Risa, and collect 750 Klingon Recruit Tokens.

[169
191
post-21919","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-missions","tag-klingon-missions
["GET
