A research vessel is gathering dark matter samples, and <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/khan-noonien-singh\/\">Khan<\/a> wants them. You pick it up in <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/tera-lara-24-vergroserung\/\">Tera Lara<\/a> at warp 7, and it needs warp 13 to complete. Once you find the vessel in Rainsford, you choose to buy the samples for 30,000 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/tritanium\/\"   title=\"Tritanium\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"10661\">Tritanium<\/a> or take them by force. Both paths pay 1 Dark Matter and 40 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/tag\/augment-faction-officers\/\"   title=\"Fraktionsoffiziere verst\u00e4rken\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"10662\">Augment<\/a> Points.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Mind_Over_Matter_objectives\"><\/span>Mind Over Matter objectives<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The first two objectives are shared:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Find the research vessel in Rainsford. Location: <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/rainsford-20-augment\/\">Rainsford<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Get the samples from the research vessel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The second step is a choice split. The two paths differ in how you get the samples, who you deliver them to, and what you earn.<\/p>\n<h3>Path 1: pay for the samples<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Pay 30,000 Tritanium for the Dark Matter samples.<\/li>\n<li>Return the samples to <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/joaquin\/\">Joaquin<\/a> in Tera Lara. Location: Tera Lara.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Path 2: take the samples<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Disable the research vessel. Location: Rainsford. Enemy strength is roughly 37,061.<\/li>\n<li>Return the samples to Khan in Tera Lara. Location: Tera Lara.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Path 1 has no combat at all; it costs Tritanium instead. Path 2 has one fight, the research vessel at about 37,061 strength, and costs nothing up front. Both finish in Tera Lara, the system where you picked the mission up.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_and_what_warp\"><\/span>Wo und welcher Warp<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The mission is picked up in Tera Lara and needs warp 7 to start and warp 13 to complete. The game lists a recommended level of 1. The rest favours different players.<\/p>\n<p>Path 1 costs 30,000 Tritanium and pays back 904,000 Parsteel and 13 3\u2605 Uncommon Refined <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/erze\/\"   title=\"Roherz\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"16426\">Erze<\/a>, more than twice the refined ore of Path 2. If you can spare the Tritanium, it is the larger payout and involves no fighting.<\/p>\n<p>Path 2 costs nothing and pays 60,000 Tritanium, twice what Path 1 asks you to spend, plus 6 3\u2605 Uncommon Refined Ore. If you are short on Tritanium or would rather fight than pay, this path puts you ahead on that resource. The price is one fight at about 37,061 strength.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tips\"><\/span>Tips<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Check your Tritanium before you reach the split. Path 1 asks for 30,000 up front, and it is the path with the bigger reward.<\/p>\n<p>If you go with Path 2, bring a combat ship to Rainsford. The research vessel is the only fight in the mission.<\/p>\n<p>If you are collecting Dark Matter, <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/die-andere-seite\/\">Die andere Seite<\/a> also pays 1 on both of its paths.
