The game lists a recommended level of 1. It starts at warp 1 and needs warp 5 to complete, and the only objective is to report your findings to Captain Kirk in <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/whinnul-9-neutral\/\">Whinnul<\/a>. The reward is a single <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/james-t-kirk\/\">James T. Kirk<\/a> shard. It takes one short trip, so there is little reason to leave it sitting in your log.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Interdimensional_Fugitive_objectives\"><\/span>Interdimensional Fugitive objectives<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The story line is one sentence: return <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/spock\/\"   title=\"Offizier Spock\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"11342\">Spock<\/a> to the Enterprise. There is a single objective and no choice split:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Report your findings to Captain <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/james-t-kirk\/\"   title=\"Offizier James T. Kirk\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"11341\">Kirk<\/a>. Location: Whinnul.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No hostile is listed for this mission, no donation is asked for, and nothing branches. The mission clears once your ship reaches Kirk in Whinnul. It closes out the story that runs through the previous mission, <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/die-zukunft-holt-die-vergangenheit-ein\/\">Die Zukunft holt die Vergangenheit ein<\/a>, so the findings you report are the ones gathered there.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_and_what_warp\"><\/span>Wo und welcher Warp<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Whinnul is the only system involved. The mission is available from warp 1 and completing it needs warp 5, which is about as low as a story mission gets. Any ship that can make the jump to Whinnul can finish it, whatever its role.<\/p>\n<p>The recommended level is listed as 1. With no combat step, warp 5 is the only thing standing between you and the reward.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Interdimensional_Fugitive_rewards\"><\/span>Interdimensional Fugitive rewards<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The mission pays one reward: 1 James T. Kirk shard. The game <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/daten\/\"   title=\"Offiziersdaten\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"11343\">Daten<\/a> for this mission lists no follow-up mission unlocked by completing it, so it works as the end point of its short storyline.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_the_Kirk_shard_is_for\"><\/span>What the Kirk shard is for<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>A single shard is a small step toward an officer, but this one belongs to an <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/tag\/epic-officers\/\"   title=\"Epic-Offiziere\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"11344\">Episch<\/a> officer. In the game data, James T. Kirk&#8217;s captain ability, Leader, gives all <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/star-trek-fleet-command-officers\/\"   title=\"Star Trek Fleet Command Beamtinnen und Beamte\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"11346\">Offiziere<\/a> on the ship a 40% bonus to their stats while the ship has Morale. His officer ability, Inspirational, gives him a chance each round to inspire Morale on his ship for 2 rounds, starting at 0.5 and rising to 0.8 as he ranks up.<\/p>\n<p>Those two abilities work together. Kirk can generate Morale himself, and while Morale is active his captain bonus lifts every officer on the bridge. That makes him worth collecting even one shard at a time, and this mission is one of the easier places to pick up a shard with no fight attached.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tips\"><\/span>Tips<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Send whichever ship is free. Because there is no hostile in the mission, you do not need to pull your combat ship away from grinding or mining. A survey ship or a spare hull that can reach Whinnul is enough.<\/p>\n<p>Run it back to back with The Future Catching The Past. The two <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/missionsleitfaden\/\"   title=\"Star Trek Fleet Command Dienstreisen\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"11345\">Missionen<\/a> share a storyline, and finishing them together keeps the Spock thread in one sitting.<\/p>\n<p>Keep track of your Kirk shards. One shard from a mission will not unlock him by itself, so it pays to note where else you are collecting them.
