The Swarm Invaders are nearly twice as strong as the Romulan Centurion, and you meet them after a long chase.<\/p>\n<p>The Jaylah shards are the reason to run this mission early. If you are building a crew around her, four shards from a single mission is a useful boost.<\/p>\n<p>The next mission, Spirals in the Sky, notes that Frequency Modulators can be acquired by defeating Swarm hostiles, so a ship set up for Swarm fights will carry over well.
