It runs at warp 1, never sends your ship anywhere and pays 6,000 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/parsteel\/\"   title=\"Parsteel\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"18541\">Parsteel<\/a>. Finishing it unlocks the next story mission. The reward is slightly more than the Parsteel the upgrade costs, so the mission effectively pays for the build.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fortification_objectives\"><\/span>Fortification objectives<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Es gibt ein Ziel und keine Verzweigung:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Upgrade Defense Platform A to Level 2.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No system, hostile or donation is involved. The story line is simply to upgrade the station&#8217;s defenses, and the mission completes when Defense Platform A reaches level 2.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_and_what_warp\"><\/span>Wo und welcher Warp<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, with no pickup system. The whole mission happens at your station.<\/p>\n<p>The recommended level is 12, the same as the mission before it.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fortification_rewards\"><\/span>Fortification rewards<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The reward is 6,000 Parsteel. Completing the mission also unlocks the next one in the chain.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_the_Defense_Platform_A_level_2_upgrade_needs\"><\/span>What the Defense Platform A level 2 upgrade needs<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Defense Platform A level 2 costs 5,500 Parsteel and 200 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/tritanium\/\"   title=\"Tritanium\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"18539\">Tritanium<\/a> and takes 3 minutes to build. It requires R&amp;D Department level 13 and Drydock A level 3. The 6,000 Parsteel from Fortification covers the Parsteel cost with 500 to spare. More detail on every platform is on the <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/defense-platforms\/\">Verteidigungsplattformen<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p>A separate station mission, <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/upgrade-verteidigungs-plattform-a-auf-stufe-2\/\">Aufr\u00fcstung der Verteidigungsplattform A auf Stufe 2<\/a>, has the same objective and pays 300 Tritanium and four 1 Minute Repair Speed Ups.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fortification_and_neighbouring_missions\"><\/span>Fortification and neighbouring missions<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Before Fortification comes <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/fatal-flaw\/\">Fataler Fehler<\/a>, where you find and acquire the artifact on Rigel. If R&amp;D Department or Drydock A is behind, the platform upgrade cannot start and the mission will wait.<\/p>\n<p>The build itself is quick at 3 minutes, so once the requirements are met you can clear Fortification almost immediately and move on to Hush.
