You investigate another catastrophe involving the mysterious ship, chase it from Strezhi to Sufiday, then clear 18 hostiles of level 25 or higher. It is available from warp 1 but needs warp 19 to complete, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is 190 3\u2605 Battleship Parts and 173,000 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/tritanium\/\"   title=\"Tritanium\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"17084\">Tritanium<\/a>, and finishing it unlocks Behind Closed Doors.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"First_Contact_objectives\"><\/span>First Contact objectives<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There are five objectives in a fixed order and no choice split:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Investigate the distress signal. Location: Strezhi.<\/li>\n<li>Try and stop the ship. Location: Strezhi.<\/li>\n<li>Follow the ship. You answer the distress call in Strezhi, fail to stop the ship there, and follow it to Sufiday. The kill objective does not name a system, so any hostile of level 25 or higher counts toward the 18. The recommended level is listed as 1. First Contact is the only one of the three built around a kill count rather than a single scripted enemy, and it pays the most.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tips\"><\/span>Tips<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Use a combat ship with good hull. Eighteen fights is a long stretch, and returning to repair between batches is faster than losing the ship.<\/p>\n<p>Plan the route to save warp. Both named systems fall within the warp 19 this mission needs, and the table above shows you can take care of the kills there before heading home.<\/p>\n<p>The Battleship Parts go toward upgrading battleship-class ships, so save them for the battleship you use most.
