Instead of a kill count, it asks you to defeat a single hostile captain at roughly 971 strength. It starts and finishes at warp 1, and the game lists a recommended level of 1. The reward is 150 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/dilithium\/\"   title=\"Dilithium\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"14362\">Dilithium<\/a>, six 10 Minute Speed Ups and two Vel K&#8217;Bentayr shards, which makes it a solid end to the level 7 set.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Combat_Training_7_Veteran_objectives\"><\/span>Combat Training 7: Veteran objectives<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The story line is shared by all Combat Training <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/missionsleitfaden\/\"   title=\"Star Trek Fleet Command Dienstreisen\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"14359\">Missionen<\/a>: Test your skills in battle against escalating difficulties of hostile enemies. There is one objective and no choice split:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Defeat the hostile captain. Enemy strength is roughly 971.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No system is named for the captain. Each Veteran mission pays two shards of the officer tied to that level.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_level_7_set_and_what_follows\"><\/span>The level 7 set and what follows<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Combat Training 7: Rookie also pays Vel K&#8217;Bentayr, with 60 Dilithium and one shard for a single level 7 kill, and this Veteran step adds two more. Once it is done, the level 8 set begins with Combat Training 8: Rookie, which pays 95 Dilithium and a <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/gaila\/\"   title=\"Offizier Gaila\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"14361\">Gaila<\/a> shard for one level 8 kill.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tips\"><\/span>Tips<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Repair fully before the fight. The captain is a single target, so a ship at full health gives you the best chance to win on the first try.<\/p>\n<p>Use the six 10 Minute Speed Ups on early building upgrades.
