You defeat a single hostile of level 7 or higher, anywhere you like, and collect 60 Dilithium and one <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/vel-kbentayr\/\">Vel K&#8217;Bentayr<\/a> shard. It runs at warp 1 and the game lists a recommended level of 1. One kill for a shard of a useful early officer is an easy trade for a new captain.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Combat_Training_7_Rookie_objectives\"><\/span>Combat Training 7: Rookie objectives<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The mission text invites you to test your skills against hostiles of escalating difficulty. There is one objective and no choice split:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Defeat a hostile of Level 7 or higher.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No system is named, so any hostile of level 7 or above counts wherever you find it.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_and_what_warp\"><\/span>Wo und welcher Warp<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Warp 1 to start and warp 1 to complete, with no pickup system. The mission never sends you anywhere specific, so the only travel is to wherever a level 7 hostile is within reach.<\/p>\n<p>The recommended level is listed as 1. The mission before it in the chain is <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/kampf-ausbildung-6-veteran\/\">Kampftraining 6: Veteran<\/a>, which pays 90 Dilithium, eight 5 Minute Speed Ups and 2 Shev Akria shards.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"About_the_Vel_KBentayr_shard\"><\/span>About the Vel K&#8217;Bentayr shard<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Vel K&#8217;Bentayr is a <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/tag\/common-officers\/\"   title=\"Common-Offiziere\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"14405\">gemeinsame<\/a> officer geared toward hostile hunting. His captain maneuver, Dilithium Hunter, adds 25% to Dilithium rewards from hostiles, and his officer ability, Chirurgical Precision, raises kinetic damage against hostiles. Rank 1 needs 5 shards.<\/p>\n<p>The Veteran tier at level 7 pays 2 more Vel K&#8217;Bentayr shards, along with 150 Dilithium and six 10 Minute Speed Ups, so level 7 gives you at least 3 of the 5 shards for rank 1.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_the_Rookie_tier_compares_at_early_levels\"><\/span>How the Rookie tier compares at early levels<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The early Rookie <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/missionsleitfaden\/\"   title=\"Star Trek Fleet Command Dienstreisen\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"14403\">Missionen<\/a> each ask for a single hostile and pay a little Dilithium, usually with one officer shard. One kill is all it takes, and the Soldier tier opens right after.<\/p>\n<p>Build toward Vel K&#8217;Bentayr early. With him as captain, hostiles pay 25% more Dilithium, which adds up over many grinding sessions.
