Pickup and completion both sit at warp 1, so no travel planning is needed. The payout is 3,200 Dilithium and 60 Recruit Tokens, and clearing it moves you along the Combat Training ladder toward the next rung.

Combat Training 18: Rookie objectives

One objective covers the entire mission:

Defeat 2 hostiles of level 18 or higher.

The “or higher” wording does real work. Hostiles above level 18 count toward the counter, so there is no need to hunt for exact level 18 spawns. Whatever grade you were already farming will register as long as it clears the floor. No system is attached to the objective, nothing branches partway through, and no dialogue choice changes what you do or what you collect.

The story framing is a difficulty check rather than a plot beat. You are sent against escalating grades of hostile enemies, and the Rookie tier at 18 is one step on that ladder. It measures whether your ship and crew can win two fights at that grade without trouble.

Wo und welcher Warp

Warp 1 covers both the pickup and the completion, the lowest figure the game asks for. No warp research and no range upgrade sits between you and this mission. It runs as a neutral mission, so faction reputation stays out of it no matter whose space you grind in.

This one is an auto link continuation. It arrives from the part before it instead of waiting somewhere to be picked up, so there is no mission giver to fly to. Combat Training 17: Veteran comes immediately before it, and Combat Training 18: Soldier follows.

With no fixed destination, pick your hunting ground for convenience. Any system carrying a level 18 or higher hostile spawn works, and the closer it sits to your station the shorter the repair trip if a fight goes sideways.

Combat Training 18: Rookie rewards

Belohnung

Amount

Dilithium

3,200

Token rekrutieren

60

Neither line is going to change your account, and at this stage of the game that is fine. The Dilithium goes toward officer promotion and the upgrades that stall without it, and 3,200 from two hostile kills at warp 1 is a fair rate for the effort involved.

Recruit Tokens are the more interesting half. Sixty of them buys recruitment pulls, which is how you build the officer roster that carries you through the next twenty levels. Early on, Offiziere matter more than another few thousand Dilithium, so treat the tokens as the reason to run this rather than the afterthought.

Finishing the mission also opens the next part of the Combat Training chain, which is the main argument for working through these instead of leaving them parked in your mission log.

Tips

Bring a ship that beats a level 18 hostile comfortably rather than one that scrapes past. Two kills means two chances to take hull damage, and a repair timer costs more time than the mission saves. If you are sitting right at the line, run a ship upgrade first and come back.

Since higher level hostiles count, the quickest route is usually to keep grinding whatever tier you were already working. Anyone well past level 18 can finish this during a normal resource run without switching targets, which turns it into a free payout attached to work you were doing anyway.

Nothing else needs preparing. No donations, no stockpile, no warp research, no travel. The mission does not expire and the rewards do not shrink, so if two fights at that grade is a stretch today, come back after your next round of upgrades and clear it in one pass.

Combat Training 18: Rookie in STFC: besiege 2 Feinde ab Level 18 bei Warp 1 für 3.200 Dilithium und 60 Recruit Tokens.

[169
404
post-21133","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-missions","tag-combat-training-missions
["GET
