The objective is to defeat 8 hostiles of level 17 or higher, in any system. It runs at warp 1 from start to finish and the game lists a recommended level of 1, so the level of the hostiles is the real requirement. The reward is 3,400 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/dilithium\/\"   title=\"Dilithium\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"14214\">Dilithium<\/a>, 17,000 Officer XP and 2 Jabilo M&#8217;Benga shards, and finishing it opens the Veteran step.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Combat_Training_17_Soldier_objectives\"><\/span>Combat Training 17: Soldier objectives<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The story line is the same for every Combat Training mission: test your skills in battle against hostile enemies of rising difficulty. There is one objective and no choice split:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Besiegen Sie 8 Feinde der Stufe 17 oder h\u00f6her.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No system is named, and hostiles above level 17 count as well. The next level&#8217;s Rookie step, Combat Training 18: Rookie, needs only two level 18 kills and pays 3,200 Dilithium and 60 Recruit Tokens.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tips\"><\/span>Tips<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Fold it into your normal hunting. Eight kills at level 17 or above fit into a regular farming session, and there is no boss to prepare for.<\/p>\n<p>Keep your ship topped up between kills. Eight fights is enough to wear a hull down, so a quick repair partway through saves you from losing a ship near the end.<\/p>\n<p>Use the Officer XP on a bridge officer you rely on. 17,000 Officer XP is a solid boost at this level.
