Bad Moon Rising is the combat half and pays more.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tips\"><\/span>Tips<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Bring a combat ship to Lainey. The Scouting Cube is the only enemy, but at roughly 129,975 strength it will beat a mining or survey ship.<\/p>\n<p>Arrive repaired. The fight comes right after the investigation step, and the mission ends with the escape rather than a return to your Station.<\/p>\n<p>Plan for One Last Effort next. It sends you across three factions&#8217; territory, so a ship with good warp range helps more than raw firepower there. The 6 3\u2605 Uncommon Refined Gas is small but useful, since refined gas comes slowly at this level.
