The recommended level is 1, it can be picked up at warp 1, and it needs warp 17 to complete. You meet the Mayflower in Eisenhorn, fly it through Tellun, Vulcan and Orion, and finish by defeating an Orion Marauder. The reward includes 4 4\u2605 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/gas\/\"   title=\"Rohgas\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"10944\">Rohgas<\/a> and 3,600 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/dilithium\/\"   title=\"Dilithium\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"16197\">Dilithium<\/a>, and it unlocks Greed Begets Greed.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Gift_Horse_objectives\"><\/span>A Gift Horse objectives<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There are five objectives across four systems, and no choice split:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meet the USS Mayflower in Eisenhorn. Location: <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/eisenhorn-19-neutral\/\">Eisenhorn<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Travel to Tellun with the Mayflower. Location: <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/tellun-7-neutral\/\">Tellun<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Travel to Vulcan with the Mayflower. Location: <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/foderation-vulkan-23\/\">Vulkan<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Travel to Orion with the Mayflower. Location: <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/orion-12-neutral\/\">Orion<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Defeat the Orion Marauder. Location: Orion. Enemy strength is roughly 30,910.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Most of the mission is travel. The Mayflower goes with you from Eisenhorn to Tellun, on to Vulcan, and then to Orion, and each leg is its own objective. The only fight comes at the very end, when an Orion Marauder at roughly 30,910 strength has to be destroyed in Orion.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_and_what_warp\"><\/span>Wo und welcher Warp<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>A Gift Horse needs warp 1 to start and warp 17 to complete. The mission data lists no pickup system, and the first objective is in Eisenhorn, so that is where the route begins. From there the path runs Tellun, Vulcan, Orion. Completing it also unlocks the next mission, <a href=\"https:\/\/star-trek-fleet-command.1337wiki.com\/de\/geiz-ist-geil\/\">Gier erzeugt Gier<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tips\"><\/span>Tips<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Bring a ship that can fight as well as travel. Four of the five objectives are escort legs, but the last one is a real fight, and it comes after three jumps. Bring one that can handle roughly 30,910 strength so the last step goes through first time.<\/p>\n<p>Check your range to all four systems before you start. The mission needs warp 17 to complete, and the route touches Eisenhorn, Tellun, Vulcan and Orion in that order, so a gap in range anywhere on that list stalls the escort.<\/p>\n<p>Weigh the faction swing if you are working on Klingon standing. The loss of 475 Klingon Points is small next to the Federation gain, but it is there.<\/p>\n<p>The 4\u2605 Raw Gas is the reward that stands out at a recommended level of 1, and the 3,600 Dilithium is a useful top-up.
