Fragile Explorers is an endgame Combat research that raises your base damage against hostile explorers, from 10% at level 1 to 75% at level 10. It unlocks at R&D Department 50 and is the offensive twin of Abfangj\u00e4ger vermeiden<\/a>: one makes your grinding hit harder, the other makes it hurt less.<\/p>\n

<\/span>What Fragile Explorers does<\/span><\/h2>\n

The bonus applies to every ship you send against explorer-class hostiles, in any content where they appear. More damage per round means shorter fights, fewer rounds of incoming fire, and more kills per hour of grinding, which quietly compounds into every daily and event that counts hostile kills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Maxing all 10 levels totals about 11K 4\u2605 Uncommon Refined Ore, 608.3B Dilithium, 69K 5\u2605 Common Refined Ore, 66.4K 5\u2605 Uncommon Refined Ore, 13.7K 5\u2605 Rare Refined Ore. The base research time adds up to roughly 84.7 yr on paper; research speed bonuses cut real timers to a small fraction of that, so use it to compare levels, not to plan your calendar.<\/p>\n

Yes if explorer hostiles are among your daily targets; at 75% this is one of the strongest grind accelerators in the tree, and its 84.7-year base time tells you the levels are meant to be a long-term companion, not a sprint.
