Federation Devotion is a Galaxy research that amplifies Federation reputation changes while you fly a Federation ship, from 5% at level 1 to 50% at level 10. It unlocks at R&D Department 27. The catch is in the plus-minus: it raises reputation losses as well as gains.<\/p>\n

<\/span>What Federation Devotion does<\/span><\/h2>\n

While you are in a F\u00f6deration<\/a> ship, every Federation reputation change is amplified by the listed percentage, in both directions. Grinding positive rep, you climb up to 50% faster. Doing things the Federation dislikes, you fall faster too. It is a loyalty multiplier, not a free bonus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Yes for players locked into the Federation who grind reputation in Federation hulls; it meaningfully shortens the climb through the locked tiers. Skip it if you juggle faction standings.
