It fights as a counter-puncher: its ability rewards taking hits by stacking armor piercing, shield piercing, and accuracy, so a longer fight swings in its favor. A refit adds Tarnung, which lets it pick its moment. It also calls for Respected standing with the Romulans, so keep your Romulan reputation up as you work toward it. The build itself costs 360,500,000,000 Tritanium and 8,754,375,000 Dilithium, and the yard needs 150 days to complete her.

Corvus ability

The Corvus ship ability is Spirit of Vengeance. Every time the ship is hit, it raises its armor piercing, shield piercing, and accuracy, and that bonus stacks for the rest of the battle. At ship level 1 each hit adds 40%; by level 60 each hit adds 275%. Ship abilities are always active, so this runs on its own once combat starts.

In play the Corvus grows more dangerous the longer it stays under fire. Opponents who cannot burst it down quickly hand it the accuracy and piercing it needs to cut through their mitigation, which is why it works as a defensive Explorer that wins drawn-out fights.

Corvus active ability

The Corvus also carries player-triggered abilities that you unlock through refits and activate yourself, each on a cooldown that shortens as the ship tiers up. Ship Cloaking hides the ship until the cloak’s duration runs out, you enter combat, start mining, or dock. Relentless Assault increases weapon damage against hostiles and armadas. Field Repairs, used out of combat while undocked, instantly restores 25% of the ship’s hull health.

Cloaking is the standout of the three. It lets the Corvus sit hidden and choose when to reveal itself, which suits a ship built to react rather than open. Relentless Assault is the one to lean on for hostile and armada farming, while Field Repairs saves you a trip back to a station when your hull is low between fights.

Stats and tiers

These are base values from the current game Daten; research, buffs, and officers raise them in play.

Ebene

Warp (speed / range)

Impulse

Cargo (protected)

Shield HP

Hull HP

Health (displayed)

1

5.3 / 265

95

100,000 (6,500)

1,377,220

1,448,306

1,412,763

6

5.8 / 355

95

150,000 (9,200)

2,069,924

2,176,766

2,123,345

12

6.4 / 500

95

210,000 (13,700)

3,326,793

3,498,509

3,412,651

Weapons and firing pattern

Warm-up is the round a weapon first fires; cool-down is how many rounds pass between shots after that. For PvP it also wants officers that help you strike after the enemy commits.

Specific picks shift with the meta, so check the Officer Tier List for current crews rather than locking into one lineup.

The Corvus in Star Trek

The Corvus is an original Star Trek Fleet Befehl design and does not appear in any Star Trek film or series, so its story comes from the game itself. Its in-game description leans on a familiar Romulan idea: patience as a weapon. The ship is built to wait, let an enemy commit first, and read their weaknesses while they fire, then close out the fight on its own terms.
