Higher levels let more ships join your Armada and raise the damage your fleet deals. If you run Armadas at all, this is a building worth steady investment.

What the Armada Control Center does

The building has one job: it opens up Armada attacks and controls how big and how strong they are. Every level improves two core numbers. Armada Size sets how many ships can join an attack, and the Armada Damage Bonus raises the weapon damage those ships deal against a hostile target. At level 1 you can bring 2 ships for a 2% damage bonus. By level 50 the roster caps at 7 ships and the bonus reaches 100%, then climbs to 120% at the top of the track.

The center also carries a fixed perk near Veridian: Borg Type 03 Solo Armadas there can be fought with a single ship instead of three, a nod to Q’s interference in that region. That effect is on from level 1 and does not scale.

Two more buffs switch on at the high end and cover Open Armadas. Open Armada Size starts at level 50 and lets 4 to 7 ships join by level 80. The Open Armada Damage Bonus starts at level 51 and scales hard, from 100% up to 15,000% at level 80, which is why the upper band matters so much to players who run that content.

Buff

Active from level

Value at anchors

Armada Damage Bonus

1

2% at L1, 50% at L25, 100% at L50, 120% at L65 and above

Armada Size

1

2 ships at L1, 4 at L20, 6 at L40, 7 at L50 and above

Open Armada Size

50

4 at L50, 5 at L60, 6 at L70, 7 at L80

Open Armada Damage Bonus

51

100% at L51, 2,000% at L60, 6,000% at L70, 15,000% at L80

These values reflect the current game Daten and can shift with future updates.

How to unlock the Armada Control Center

Placing the building at level 1 takes two things. You need Operations at level 23, and you need the Unlock Armada Control Center research at rank 1. Both gates land around the same point in progression, so most commanders can drop the building as soon as they reach Operations 23. After that, each upgrade band is tied to your Operations level rather than to any other structure.

Upgrade costs and build times

Early levels are cheap and fast. The cumulative build time runs to more than 20,000 days unboosted, so speedups and build-cost research carry a lot of the load at the high end.

How the Armada Control Center fits your station

Think of this building as the gate to a whole style of play rather than a passive resource producer. Until it goes up, Armada attacks are off the table, so the level 1 placement at Operations 23 is the real milestone. From there, the two numbers that pay off fastest are Armada Size and the Armada Damage Bonus, both of which improve every level, so early upgrades are easy to justify while the costs stay low.

The value of pushing past level 50 depends on the content you play. Reaching the seven-ship cap at level 50 covers standard Armadas, and the Open Armada buffs above that point serve players deep into the endgame. The Sigma-resource band from level 55 is a long, expensive commitment gated behind Operations 72 and higher, so it makes sense to slow-roll it and prioritize Gebäude that help your daily grind first.

Is the Armada Control Center worth upgrading?

For anyone who joins Armadas, yes, at least through the mid levels. Getting to the seven-ship cap and a strong damage bonus makes every Armada run faster and safer, and the early upgrades are quick and affordable. The top band is optional and best treated as a long-term endgame goal, since the Sigma costs and multi-year build times only pay back if you are running Open Armadas regularly.

The Armada Control Center unlocks Armada attacks in STFC at Operations 23.
